How is it that Clark has done nothing to bring heat on herself, or disrupt the league in any way, yet she's the one who's repeatedly attacked by the media, WNBA, and other players? Whilst Reece has gone out of her way to make everything about herself, shown nothing but contempt for other players, cried victim at every opportunity, and claimed to be solely responsible for the recent upturn in the leagues popularity? Yet all those gunning for Clark have done everything they can to boost her brand, and support her claims of victimisation! This is all the evidence needed to show what's going on has nothing to do with being a rookie? Unearned accolades? Or any of the other multitude of excuses? It's about race, ideology, jealousy, bitterness, and entitlement! They hate Clark because she's professional, skilled, extremely likable, marketable, humble, and a much beloved superstar! Everything they're not! And they can't stand it.

Have you considered this rivalry has been contrived to drive views? I mean, it's working. There was some rivalry in the NCAA... and someone saw that... and saw the attention it was grabbing... and decided... that is what is needed to breathe life back into the WNBA. Angel Reese almost gave it away when she said "I'll be the villain..." in an interview. I think its more stage play than real.

Remember she has a national championship against CC! She was dominant in college and she's dominating now! This is the same champion Angel Reese doing the same as she did in college. The mens’ game is more exciting with speed and spectacular dunks. People want to watch it more. Caitlin’s style of play with insane three pointers, crafty assists, technical skill, and ice cold nerves gets people to start watching the WNBA for the first time. I am one of those people. Nobody is coming to see Angel, but once we’re here we can appreciate her.

@@karenrhodes9973 I understand what you’re saying, but we’re comparing a power forward game to a point guards game. Point guards tend to play with more finesse and power forward to play with more strength and aggressiveness. It is the referees duty to police flagrant fouls that offset normal play. The same beat down that CC has taken, Reese gets just as much in the paint against centers and other power forwards. Being close lined to the ground and being hip checked are two different levels of fouls that the ref has to call to clean up the game. But Angel is not a dirty player that is intentional in trying to hurt anybody. CC teammate, and All-Star Boston is just as tough as Angel Reese, and is never called a thug or a dirty player as she never should be looked at that way.

I feel it important for people to understand that the 15 point comeback was NOT a result of anything Angel Reese did. Rather, Indiana's coach abandoned the offense that had been kicking Chicago's ass for 3 quarters and took the ball out of Clark's hands. There have been wide and loud calls for the coach to be fired since. These calls are warranted, as only an Olympic class moron would make such a decision.

She just won’t be as commercially accepted, which is OK and everybody has their own favor in life. In the NBA LeBron is beloved more than anyone, that doesn’t dismiss Kevin Durant or other stars being exceptional and neither one of them want to be the other.

Caitlin Clark leads the league in assists and 3-pt goals. Reese just stands under the basket and waits for the ball to gently fall off the rim into her waiting arms. To make matters worse, in the NBA you gotta bang to get a rebound. Not with Angel, it is like the rest of the league got a memo to clear out for Reese when she is within a few feet of the basket. To make matters further worse, Reese had 9 rebounds at the conclusion of the Seattle game and was gifted a rebound after the game to shamefully pad her double doubles. Now compare this to CC who was within one rebound of a triple double a few days ago when her coach took her out of the game with minutes to go without any regard to padding CC's stats. CC got this ROTY thing considering her assists are way more impressive than Reese's rebounds (or uncontested catching of the ball under the rim).

Everyone talking about rebounds seems to forget that Reese is a forward with about 6 inches on Clark (judging from photos). Clark is a point guard. Of course she should have fewer rebounds. The fact that she fets as many as she does is a testament to her hustle and talent. Reese is a sad, jealous clout chaser. It's always, "What about me? Look at me!"

Caitlin Clark has such a nice jump shot, I played basketball for many years and not to boast but I could sink shot after shot and I will say her jump shot is exactly what you want to aim for, the way she sets her feet, how she bends her knees low and arches her back slightly, she tucks her elbows midway, she curls her wrist and sends it off with her finger tips, it’s a beautiful jump shot. I honestly don’t know if I could still shoot like I use to but Caitlin Clark has reignited that passion I once had. We had a basketball hoop in our beaten up driveway and from around 7-8 am every Saturday and Sunday I’d be out there until I couldn’t see anymore, only taking breaks for bathroom runs and sustenance. Wish I’d of stuck with it. But Clark reminds me of that love I once had for the game.

Caitlin Clark Until stumbling over a news item, I had less than no interest in women's basketball, at any level. . One Second of seeing CC-22 impersonating Stephen Curry hooked me! The second second and I realized Caitlin Clark wasn't copying anybody! . Because what I know is based on clips showing her shooting half-court 3-pointers and making magical passes, reminiscent of Magic Johnson to Kareem when everyone in the stadium and home in front of their television KNEW the Sky-Hook was coming and nobody could stop it, I see patterns where the playing style of CC-22 is changing the team. Boston figured out that all she has to do is get below the basket, stick out a mitt and the basketball would appear in it. . Anyway, I think she is playing perfectly, playing her game and letting the team adjust to things like having a pass actually come to them, and supporting each others play. I think I see a team in name becoming a team in practice.

To start, they need to do what Shaq recommended: lower the scoring rim a foot and they'll start dunking more often.
