I did the same thing, moving from Galveston area to Seattle for about 7 years. Missed all of those gulf fish for sure. Jumped at the chance to move back down here and now I miss that fresh Salmon from the PNW, but not nearly like redfish trout and flounder. Thanks for stopping in man, have a great day!

Okay buddy….I really had hoped for you but this is a sauté video not a blackening video. The point of putting the butter on the fish is so you don’t have to put it in the pan. You are suppose to get the cast iron white hot and out the filets in and the butter on the fish creates the barrier so it doesn’t stick as the seasoning brackens(not burns) Try it! You’ll like it because it’s not full of oil!
@BBQbyBiggs
@BBQbyBiggs 8 ай бұрын
I will try it that way! Thanks for the tip. It always comes out pretty darn good either way, but will sure try it without butter in pan

Why pat them dry if you are going to pour butter on them? The butter is 20% water.
@BBQbyBiggs
@BBQbyBiggs Жыл бұрын
I guess you do not have to if you don’t want to. I have aways patted them down to ensure good solid butter coating and to again get any unwanted moisture off.
