*[ INGREDIENTS ]*
🍁For General Cake Premix:
1.5 cup all purpose flour/ maida (180 gram)
1/3 cup milk powder (40 gram)
1.5 tsp baking powder (7.5 gram)
1/2 tsp baking soda (2.5 gram)
1/2 cup sugar (100 gram)
🍁For Chocolate Cake Premix:
1.5 cup all purpose flour/ maida (180 gram)
1/3 cup milk powder (40 gram)
1.5 tsp baking powder (7.5 gram)
1/2 tsp baking soda (2.5 gram)
1/2 cup sugar (100 gram)
1/4 cup cocoa powder (25 gram)
1 CUP = 240 mL

If you are making cake with egg then you can skip milk powder but if you are making eggless cake then instead of milk powder you can add 1/2 cup curd at the time of preparing cake batter.

I'm confused How can it be 1.5 cup flour is only 180 grams? And yet 1/2 cup sugar is 100 gms. That means 1 cup should be 200 gms? It's totally confusing

Weight and density of flour and sugar is different hence the difference in grams

It is totally depends on your weight of your cake. With the total premix of each category you can make near about 500 gram sponge.

Is everything required to be put in the mixer/grinder. If we have powdered sugar, can we not just measure everything and sieve it.

You should powder it because cake premix must be very fine.
