Evans weefee this show is probably staged, noone wanna buy something like that, overpriced average tasting cake. And the way they managed the cake and transport it openly, just nasty... and its covered in so much fondant, its just eating colored sugar paste!!!!!!!

Evan’s WiFi They probably wash their hands. And that doesn’t make for good television. Have you ever seen the show “Ace of Cakes”? They did a behind the scenes episode, and Ace brought up how viewers would often question if their hands are clean. He said that they are filmed continuously in the bakery as they make their cakes, which includes them washing their hands (and they wash them quite frequently), but it never makes the cut in the final product. It pretty much boiled down to “What would viewers want to see more off? The cake/drama/people? Or people washing hands over and over and over?” Besides, cake decorating is difficult with gloves, depending on the decorations. Sometimes if the gloves don’t fit you quite right (since most gloves either run too big or too small) they’ll ruin the effect of the fondant you are trying to do. I personally can’t stand touching cake/buttercream so I always wear gloves, but in most bakeries I’ve worked, the people just wash their hands while working on a cake.
