So far I haven't seen a lot of people getting into the music we react to here in the US. Hopefully us US based reacotrs can slowly introduce them. Currently the only way for these artists to get exposer is for people to watch reactions like ours, or for the KZfaq algorith to push it out to them. No one I've talked to about Cakra has heard of him before.

Hopefully Cakra could have more world recognition after this single - especially in US - bc the purpose of having this studio version is to reach broader listener, but obviously it also depends on Cakra's management themself, how hard they work to bring Cakra into bigger platform I mean, if you know VOB - hard rock metal band from Indonesia - they are newbie in Indonesia music industry, but had done various "small concerts" around Europe and now in US, so I think, the possibility is still there for Cakra to be known internationally. I'm shocked that you've never reacted to them before. As much as you guys love amazing vocal performances you should really check out either Mamamoo's Killing Voice (a live, relaxed and fun medley of their own hit songs in a studio) or Immortal Songs Medley (a live in concert medley of remade classic Korean songs from the past). I think you two would absolutely love them. Be ready to have your jaws drop and start a whole new journey of their many, many, many amazing performances and music videos. @@HyperactiveSloth79 This is the first request I remember seeing for Mamamoo. We'd love to check them out. One issue. We've had a lot of problems with copyright lately. I feel like I've been taking courses on fair use with how much I've looked into it these past few weeks. We've consulted with KZfaq and also with a copyright lawyer. Our style of reacting to music is to break down the lyrics and how they speak to us. We have no musical background and just saying their voice is amazing isn't enough critical or educational commentary for us to fall under fair use. Without lyrics or without the song being in English it makes it very hard for us to break anything down and be considered to fall under fair use. That said, we are going to stay away from doing reactions to songs that are foreign that don't have subtitles. This song you recommended doesn't have any subtitles. Is there anything else from them you would like to recommend?

@@RNTV Well, Killing Voice does have English subtitles, I just double checked (here is the one I'm referring to: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jdybh8Z_ttncqpc.htmlsi=-FOSQ-ioMkLx4ROE) and lots of other reactors have used it without any trouble. It's just such a fun experience to be introduced to them through that video that is automatically the first one I think of. All of the MVs on Mamamoo's official channel have English subtitles as far as I know. Some of my favorites for sheer vocals (although you can't go wrong with any of theirs for great vocals) would be Starry Night, Where Are We Now, and Wind Flower. For fun and happy mood MVs I'd probably say Gogobebe, HIP, and Dingga. It's really a shame that live performances are the riskiest to react to because their best performances by far are live. On that note, in case you didn't know, any time you react to any Asian artists avoid MNet content at all costs. They will claim EVERY video containing any of their material, every time! Melon and KBS are to be avoided as well from what I've heard. On the flip side, nearly all of the groups' official channels are rather safe. They tend to view it as free advertising rather than stealing content, but it's always best to check groups case by case just to be sure. Speaking of advertising, Mamamoo also have the distinction of going way above and beyond with their OSTs. Their song Wanna Be Myself is a self confidence and empowerment anthem, and it's a commercial for an athleisure wear brand. Their song Gleam is one of my faves, both the song, vocals and video... and it's an eyeglass commercial. 😂 No matter what you are able to do, I wanted to suggest it to you. ...and if you're not able to react to Immortal Songs Medley because of copyright I would still highly suggest just checking it out on your own time because WOW! it's that good! A lot of reaction channels go down rabbit holes of copyrighted material and then stop doing reactions because they spend 100s of hours making content for free.
