@@puffythedestroyer8878 The problem is that this is a live service game, it need a constant success of players buying the game and buying microtransactions, it needs a constant flow of updates and improvements to make sure players stay interested, and if the game flops, servers close and the game becomes unplayable. This game should have offline, LAN and P2P servers.

You got to keep in mind that ctrnf was a remaster more than an online game and the online it was just a mode that they added.

@@zeldram_6199 You got it backwards. Nitro-Fueled was a glimpse at how the original CTR would get treated if it was made as a modern era game. The online wasn't in the original because of technical limitations, but in modern times there's no such restriction and so the remake was able to implement it. The decision with Crash Team Rumble to not include any sort of offline compatible single player campaign is just that; a decision that they made. There's nothing otherwise restricting it from existing, it wouldn't be all that difficult to give it the Crash Bash (Or indeed even CTR) treatment in regards to BSing up a story excuse for the events going on and then pitting the player against AI opponents.

Honeslty it's good that the game became a spinoff title so they can foucas on it a lot rather than it being a port. If it was a DLC the game would not get additional characters or skins.

There’s some gameplay trailers & full ign coverage floating about. I’d say yes, it’s indeed very similar to Arena’s battle-mode structure. But it does allot of things unique to itself.

There are videos explaining how to play this game. It's hard to understand because this game is unique, it may create a new genre just like PUBG and Fortnite created the Battle Royale genre.

It's not even free to play, it costs 30 Kamalas, then there are microtransactions and battle passes.

@@Adam-ww2cl The money needs to come from somewhere, one thing is microtransactions in a free game, another thing is microtransactions in a game you already paid 60 Kamalas for. They still need to be careful with microtransaction in free games, but the only excuse I give this game costing 30 Kamalas and having microtransactions is if they keep servers working for decades.
