I was surprised to learn that frisbee golf has become a thing people watch and play professionally. This seems more deserving of broadcast and going to see. I have no idea what is going on though.

I was thinking that soccer should be made into a fighting sport without fouls, and then I learned about Calcio Storico. It's a very exciting, violent and interesting competition! I want it to spread in Japan and Thailand as well.

As a person who holds disdain for most ball sports, I gotta admit, this is AWESOME. Most other athletes are tough looking, but jesus, these guys are proper warriors. If I ever see a man in those stripey shorts, I am NOT going to tease him.

Как ни странно, хоть это и выглядит довольно грубый вид спорта, но как мне кажется в этом спорте к соперники друг к другу испытывают уважение, даже с учётом того что ругались во время матча, обалдеть это какую выносливость надо иметь чтобы целых 50 минут участвовать в "массовой драке" так скажем, это же не просто бой на выносливость, тут нужно действительно огромные запасы энергии так как расход сил идёт не только от лёгких но и так же стресс, каков не был бы опытен спортсмен он в любом случае испытывает стресс(говорю вам как профессиональный хоккеист). Этот вид спорта действительно заслуживает уважения и внимания, очень интересный вид спорта. Привет от русских спортсменов😮

You can wrestle (to a point) but you cannot hit each other. Most calcianti don't wrestle because it's mostly useless, chokes or armbars are always stopped. Instead they draw breath.

@@momentda Not if your team has the ball, in that case you're clearing field for the runners to go in. In theory you can wrestle on the ground, but you cannot ground and pound. Most calcianti don't wrestle when on the ground because that's not the point. You tackle someone for different reasons, depending on the tactics you are going to use and what's going on in the game. You also do it to stop a particularly fast runner, or a dangerous first-liner. Finally, you do it to draw breath and maybe drink some water.
