Installing Apple CarPlay On Any Older Ford Sync 3...

Today we UPDATE my Ford Focus RS infotainment system with the new version 3.4 for Ford Sync 3 Infotainment Systems from Cyanlabs.net. After updating the car we install the Apple CarPlay Feature by swapping the USB Hub and it WORKED! Just like that we now have Apple CarPlay in my older Ford!

Appreciate the video man. I have a 2016 RS2 and from ford you can get the software version 3.0 and that has android auto. Don't know if it has Carplay but it works for me! Love the RS videos!

How about some links for the lowbeam replacements? Arent they like a D3S or something? I want to change mine to LED but having issues with the bulb type

Hey for the map version is that important because it says non Navi apim but I have a navigation system in my car

MY20 means that it will detect a 2020 vehicle. It doesn't mean auto install.

Then you'll be getting the update and it won't effect Apple CarPlay

It was never on Sync 1. It was already Sync 3

Only will work with Sync 3. Check to see what Sync it has in the settings

I believe there is an A B and C. I think one is the updated part and the other is discontinued but don’t quote me on that
