In this review, we have a look at my thank you gesture to Kris and the team at Caledonia Works. Wandering Coach audio courtesy of 22Tesla.
Sorry about the snuffles during the review session. I sometimes tend to get a snuffly nose on occasions.

You’ll have to ignore my complaints on the lack of whistle (I.E. the short blasts) since I was an absolute idiot and didn’t press crtl space. I’ll show those off when I review the Large Boiler Claughtons.

I bet that if Afton appeared in the show, he would use James's model meaning he would be an L&YR Class 28 rather than an LNWR Claughton but with different faces, a different shade of red, and a different wheel arrangement. His tender would just be Donald or Douglas's tender but with LNWR painted on it.

Enjoyable video. Hmm . . . black exhaust from the cylinder cocks? I don't remember my Claughtons doing that. I'll have to pay more attention next time I take one out for a drive. The LNWR "Greater Britain" uses the same brake control. I rather like it. Which reminds me. With the Claughton, and many other but not all steam locos, once the train brake has been fully released, it should to be moved to "running" position and kept there until needed to slow the train.

I think that's probably due to the fact I was doing a night session. When I did a test off camera during a daytime session, the steam from the drains was a light grey

It can depend on the lighting. Some sences are quite bright, while others a rather dark.
