Everyone at Los Alamitos probably feels he's their Triple Crown Winner anyway! Great reception for Chrome arriving back at his home track! People won't hold it against the horse for the humiliating actions of his co-owner. The Breeders Cup Classic is gonna be Epic this year!

Thank you for posting that - we were worried about our hero - he looks so happy to be home with his buddy Raul and everyone who cares about him. I'm glad he will heal OK - we look forward to seeing him again in the winner's circle :)..............to all his fans, he is a Champion.

I miss having It's loved getting up in the morning and getting on my computer, to see what he did that day then I would share it with all my friends from Kentucky to WY. Every one loves Chrome, we will never tire of hearing about him, so when ever you get a chance give him a hugband a carrot for us all

I love the story of California Chrome and all of his connections. I firmly believe this horse would have won the Belmont had he not been injured coming out of the gate. Victor Espinoza did indicate when he broke from the gate, he was not the same horse and it was discovered after the race that Matterhorn bumped into him and a good chunk of his hoof was torn off. This horse deserves a long rest until the Breeders Cup. He certainly looked happy to be back at his normal barn with all of the people that normally take care of him. He looked very calm.

Thanks for showing this .. He is such a beauty I sure wish he would have won the triple crown...I still believe what Steve Coburn said about racing the triple crown. IMHO all horses should race all three races. Will California Chrome race again at Santa Anita? I am too far away from Los Al..60 miles from there but I am closer to Santa Anita. thats why. I saw him race in the Santa ANita Derby in April too.

Someone should sponsor a match race with Chrome and Tonalist. Chrome just had a bad day.............bet he would beat T on a rematch

Was California Chrome winny-ing or naying (not sure what the correct equine terminology is) after he wagged his tail walking towards the building with his stall and what does it mean when a horse does that? Does it mean they are talking to you in a happy way or....anyway that can please help out with decifering horse behavior. Thx
