Hey Everyone!
I was fortunate enough to get an Invite to the California Superbike School as part of my higher learning motorcycle training journey!
As you know, Track Days are a love of mine and I am always striving to be faster, smoother and more flowing!
The California Superbike School really strips everything back and in my opinion, gives you time to focus on key elements that on a regular track day you wont focus on. Because we all know what it's like on a track day... you go with the best intentions to slow it down and work on stuff but then as soon as you get there - you just wanna go FAST FAST FAST and don't end up working on the things you should be working in.
I know I am guilty of this!!!

Yessss you really got it!! The rest of the spectrum of levels are all as refreshingly educational and by the time you get to your first level four you come to realise that you have been taught a language of learning! Username Dad would, I feel sure really enjoy the benefits of the school. I want another L 4 for my 70th birthday 😁

Excellent video Kate! I'm going back to Donny in a couple of weeks and it's right what you say about things being a bit too hectic on a track day really work on your flow around the track. Vision through the corners is my biggest weakness and so thanks to you I'll be signing up for one of these next year!

Hope you don’t mind me saying but go back and watch that great section where your following Mike. What he was trying to get you to do was follow his wheel tracks. In reality your watching him and when he turns, you turn meaning you were turning in a little early. I did the same thing for a long time when following people. Hope you find this helpful. I did my first ever track day at Broadford, Victoria. Australia. only a month ago on an '03 Aprilia Tuono RSV 1000 (track bike) had that much fun, immediately the next day I bought a written off '14 Aprilia Tuono V4 APRC to convert to a bit of a track weapon as my daily ride is a '21 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100.

Great video! Your prior experience was clearly evident in your smoothness and in how easily you cut through traffic. I love CSS and would highly recommend working your way up to Level IV and getting in some two-day camps (7 session days and even more individualized coaching and consultation). CSS is also a great way to experience track days, with less worry of riders “aiming” for you as you follow the line.

It's really hard work to mount cameras on these bikes, there a loads of restrictions about not having them on your tank etc. I think next time, I'll keep a camera there but put one on my instructors bikes to show me riding 😄

Very educational video, who knew silkworms farted! Speaking of bookings I’ve had a booking but that’s a different story. Now that you’ve done the Califronia sessions you and Mike will have to do a working vacation to Califronia and Sears Point and the famous Corkscrew at Laguna Seca, the twisty roads are great too. I do my fair share of holding up fences these days darn back has a mind of its own. Looks like you had fun.

Oulton Park is 45 mins away. But cadwell, Anglesey and donny are my favourite! Oh gosh! I wouldn't know! I'd like to try something powerful on track that isn't an inline 4, just to see the difference. My friend Claudia had an R1 and that was amazing on track! So I'd like to try one of those 😊
