There is a lot of pop culture references in this song, one I picked up for the first time is "Space may be the final frontier" which is a reference to the original Star Trek opening "Space, the final frontier", I wasn't a Trekkie back then ^^

It's because they don't try to be different just to try and sound different and quirky, owns it to the original and they let their own flair come out through that and it's far better because of it (I think)

Love that kind of vibrato (while I'm not absolutely certain that's the right word for the technique) she puts in her tone even when doing straight notes. Tune is never so high but always so meaningful and intense. It matches somehow the original, which is so peculiar and recognizable. Good job!

I think what impresses me the most is that Audra's voice in this song is a perfect feminized version of Anthony Kiedis' voice. It just captures the feel of how his voice moves so well. It's so good. The band does such a good job with mimicking the tones of the original too. Great job yo!

I've been a Peppers' fan 🇦🇷 since 2002 when I discovered them at my 14s. And this cover is just really good, steady and strong... and the voice of the girl also very smooth and cool, really cool! 🙌🏼 Hope you the best guys with your job! 🖖🏼🍀✨

The beauty of this band is not just them being locked into their own rendition of a cover....but whoever this vocalist is not only hits the notes but expresses them. Its similar to "The Greatest Showman" honestly if she was not in a band she should be doing broadway auditions cause she seems so comfortable on stage just expressing the instrumentals during non vocals

I had no idea the chorus is "Dream of Californication" until I heard this version. To me it always sounded like "Chemo Californication".

I used to sing in a choir years past, and so when I listen to music, I often focus on the vocals, and my thoughts typically turn to "Wow, Audra is killing it!". I have to remind myself to pay attention to everyone else, and y'all just play so flawlessly that's it's easy to not focus on, because I've heard the song so many times and y'all played it exactly how my mind expects it to be played. In my head that feels like a compliment, and is certainly intended to be one, you guys just always play amazingly well! Much love, and I hope to see y'all in Dallas again someday! P. S. I think this is still my favorite cover of y'alls

Audra's incredible talent for getting into the shoes of Anthony Kiedis. capturing the spirit of this song with her own voice... she promised much joy then! I don't have words to explain how amazing this cover is, but I'll try. It was outstanding and calming to listen to. Everything is perfect about it. Audra's voice is so soothing, Sam's drumming really bring in so much energy to it, Matt's guitar playing and Ryan's bass playing really put this cover together. Awesome job by each one of you.
