Calimacil LARP Boffer Flame Review and Field Test

After seeing the pictures, I took a chance to buy all three colors of the Calimacil LARP flame. It’s a boffer LARP prop that you can throw instead of spell packets. So I gathered up five of my LARP friends to give these things a try. This video is a review and test to see how they feel when wearing metal armor, leather, a corset, and just bare skin.

Thanks for sharing. Usually when I see the brand "Calimacil" my first thoughts are "Yeah but, you know, how much?" because as gorgeous as their sculpts are they are usually in the "sell an organ" range of cost

Agreed. I usually think it's worth it for their swords because those usually last five years or more before the foam starts breaking down. But also, a few lamps I know don't allow those weapons because of how hard they are. I'll be doing a video later about casting foam weapons and the cost of that diy.

I Squealed when you transformed into a Faun, I just created a Faun for our local Larp and I'm so amped to play her. I love that costume. Would love to see what you did for the shoes. I've made hoof shoes for fancy events but I want to make something more practical for running around.
