This is so artistic and creative. I'm so damn proud of him. Every song he puts out is better than the previous. It makes me sad and upset that he gets overlooked from the mainstream media. More people should start listening to his music. Also I know it might sound cheesy but a lot of his songs give me goosebumps and I feel every lyric. His music has been my shelter more than once. So many of your songs feel like the universe connected with you to make songs telling my stories. Thank you for your art. My first relationship was with an abusive narcissist, he projected his cheating onto me and created a trauma bond, ruined my friendships and turned everyone against me because he was so charismatic and I was shy and people took that to mean I thought I was better than them. He threw me down in front of them because I was a bad hostess and didn’t have food prepared, I was 16. My brain erased the worst of the memories and after my friend told me about them, because she was there, some came back. He still tries to be my friend. I had a psychotic episode (turns out I have schizophrenia that emerged in my late 20s) and called him to pick me up from the hospital, because I forgot everything except that I loved him. I got married to someone else and left him during the night after he put me in a headlock, a year after choking me, and now my first is trying to say we aren’t done and never will be. To come back trying to love bomb me while I’m in the middle of a separation, the audacity. But his lessons taught me how to leave. There’s no telling how long I would have stayed if it wasn’t for what I went through with him as a teen. And your songs help me feel the pain and get it out on my own, because the person that broke you can’t fix you. I can’t put into complete words how much your art/music is like a balm on my raw heart.
