JJ Cale sure wrote a lot of killer classics, but Skynyrd and Clapton are more known for his music than he was. This has always been one of my favorite Skynyrd tunes. I really loved the "One More From The Road" version of this. Thanks for sharing this with everyone. Peace.. Joe

You are truly the best at showing me personally by the way you play this stuff , playing for so many years now but never taken lessons and or read music just played by ear and trial-and-error , thank you very much.

I've watched many of your videos, just watched your Hold On Loosely solo yet again. Two of my favs you do are Dreams and Flirtin with Disaster by Molly Hatchet. To be honest, I thought you'd stopped posting, but after a quick search, saw you post this solo. I've seen over 400 bands in my time, along with many greats. And you sir, are one extremely talented guitar player. You make it look so effortless, even though I know it's not. Very well done, you are brilliant!

Note : the solos are primary based on the A Major Pentatonic scale .. not the A minor ( blues ) scale
@LEADSOLO2 ай бұрын
That's probably true although they do go back and forth a lot. I like how they just mix them both together

Damn man that souds good what are you using to get that tone?

I would swear the opening lick goes from fret 3 to 4 on the A string and not fret 2 to 4 much in the same way it is used in What's Your Name. Am I crazy?
