No two guitar licks are the same. It just blows my mind. They really showed how a five note pentatonic scale can produce endless possibilities

GOLD! Thank you for sharing. cheers

Just figuring out whether a note was produced from bending the string or a slide can be tough

Not just this song but most of them are far more intricate than I ever imagined and I'm a decent player. Thank you, when it comes to not only deciphering this stuff but relaying the energy and emotion, no one else comes close.

While this may be too fast for beginners, I am thankful for this more intermediate-oriented lesson. I like this way better than those marathons going "then the xth fret on the a string ... *plin* ... then the yth fret on the b string ... *plin* ... then the zth fret on the c string ... *plon* ... from the beginning ... *plinplinplon* ... then"

Just caught sight of this. Extremely well interpreted and executed. My favourite Peter Frampton song. Makes me realise just how good he was. To construct such lead runs is something else. Don't think there are many that can do that these days. You have helped suatain his legacy. Thank you.

hello, did you use any pedals? compressor or something else? thanks for video....
@LEADSOLO11 күн бұрын
I'm sure I did but I don't remember exactly which ones. At the time I used a lot of Boss pedals, and direct line recording of my guitar. I still record similarly but with a boss effects unit... You can read a little about it here on my website. www.leadsolo.com/lead-solo-blog/what-effects-am-i-using

Your tone kicks ass! What are you running that SG through?
Everybody likes to sew what version for the most part cuz you got the great production and some of the Eagles doing backup. In fact they became stablemates at the time for Mr Bill s down at criterion studios when they got him for a producer and he had so many people under his belt already. If you ever take a look at so what again you think you might work up a lesson on time out that's another killer song that nobody seems to show how to play
