Going down the 80s/90s action movie is kinda awesome, and can't wait to see some gameplay with dual pistols. If they could recreate something like Nakatomi Plaza of Die Hard 1 or like tea house from Hard Boiled, that would be cool. Prolly won't buy the game tho, and just mooch off my friend.

the death of Max Payne 3 multiplayer and Double Action have left a "flopping around" shaped void in gaming. I'm cautious after the last 3 cods, but honestly SO HAPPY to see this. Now add bullet time 😂

Well, since they make it look like they invented this movement in their new installment, it is *indeed* lost ancient tech that was like 10 years ago in Max Payne at minimum that has to be rediscovered (8-9 if we're taking R6)

Im developing a game, introducing 8 Way Directional Movement with making the proper animations and doing all the logic in code took me 9 hours. Im a solo and i never animated something. This was honestly the bare minimum i wanted in my game and in CoD its like a revolution wtf.

This is cool, and as a Max Payne 3 fan I really like this, this is going to be so fun to play with especially in Zombies, the possibilities are endless

I don't think this really is anything especially noteworthy if you think about it. I mean what this really is, is just 360 degree slide cancelling, which has already been possible for example in BO3. Though for backwards sliding you had to do a lil camera movement thing. Oh and no more prone block, which actually is a genuinely awesome feature.

Battlefield V already did this kinds of things...Like..Why is this suddenly new?.. And in battlefield V you can run while crouching, move backwards and fire, while prone.. slide off the side of a building and Do a barrel to take less fall damage..
