Күн бұрынWant to trick out your Call of Duty NVGs with a tactical helmet? Here's your complete walkthrough to modding yours.
I forgot to mention in the video but you'll need to cut the wire to the battery pack. You can reattach it afterwards with some black electrical tape if you want to attach the battery to the helmet. Not really necessary but if you want it to look 100% accurate that's up to you.

Do you absolutely need a shoe mount? I’ve seen another video where they mount it without buying the shoe. I’m just trying to save money here so if you can let me know whether it’s necessary or just recommended.

Alex Plays thank you so much! Now in regards to the shoe itself, do I need to use glue or can I just screw it in. I don’t want to have that glue in there permanently in case I ever want to remove that piece for some reason in the future.

You should glue it I don’t see a reason to change it since it is best on a helmet cuz it has a use

Is the cord to the battery pack at the back just a dummy cord ?

Yes it doesn’t connect to anything, it’s strictly there for looks.
