A place where we are always drawn back to and one of the most beautiful places on earth - the Lofoten Islands. In this episode we show you our life in this stunning landscape well above the Arctic Circle, an unique archipelago with rugged mountains, stunning beaches, and crystal-clear lakes - which look even better in winter with a blanket of snow. From the enchanting winter wonderland of Lofoten to the quiet beauty of Norway's northern villages, this episode documents our adventures through these stark yet stunning terrains. But everything is a bit different here so close to the ocean and the the Gulf Stream - winter can be gone within a night.

Wonderful! Always a treat every time a new video is released. I actually caught a glimpse of the three of you at one of the Hamnøy lookouts during my travels to Lofoten early this March. Didn't recognize you at first as you had your hair tied but immediately recognized Odin and knew it was my favorite nordic trio! Wanted to say hi but ya'll were busy in a video call. Perhaps the stars shall allign next time!

All of the great words of praise have already been used in the comments (deservedly so!)…though ”groovy” and “neat-o” are still up for grabs, they don’t quite do it justice. So I’ll just say thank you for all of your videos. They are a wonderful way for me to “travel” to some incredible locations that I more-likely-than-not will not to get witness in this lifetime. Another master class in videography. The edits are on point, the composition wunderbar and the intermix of music and ambient sounds fit so perfectly. The only thing I would consider changing is the white frame around the photos. While white generally fits with the Scandinavian feel, the stark difference in brightness between video and the pure white frame requires some extra time for the eyes to adjust. For me the photo sequences don’t get the full attention they deserve as I spend split seconds on adjusting my eyes to the brightness. No matter what I am hoping there will be an episode 6!

We just wanted to maintain a general look for these 5 episodes and decided not to change it now. But we're still thinking about what the backdrop might be - black isn't our favorite, but maybe a warmer toned / creme white. We'll see 🙌

Absolutely amazing! You really managed to capture the beauty of the Lofoten Islands. The shots, the music and the storytelling make it such a pleasure to watch. And it's brought back the memories of my short stay in Reine a year ago. I wasn't lucky to see the northern lights but even so I was absolutely spellbound!

Und noch ein wundervolles Video vom Winter im Norden😍 es ist seit Langem mein Traum, einen Winter auf den Lofoten zu verbringen. Dieses Video inspiriert mich dazu, weiter davon zu träumen und dieses Abenteuer vielleicht in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft in Angriff zu nehmen 😊 danke Daniel und Tashi! @@DanielErnst allerdings, war Ende Januar während des Orkans in Tromsø 🫣 hatten dann zum Glück noch eine tolle Woche im Süden Norwegens, mit viel Schnee und angenehmer Kälte. Aber Lappland ist eben schon nochmal was anderes mit der Polarnacht und der Einsamkeit 😍

Absolutely enchanting! This was my favourite video of yours yet! Everything was incredibly clean and the shots were very well composed. The video perfectly captured the feeling of a long winter in the north. The moody landscape shots were simply spectacular. The contrast between light and dark is what I find so fascinating, be it in Norway, Iceland or any of the other beautiful Arctic countries. And, best of all, this video is a perfect visual diary for you to rewatch in the years to come to remember the adventures of your youth 😊

Thank you guys for the beautiful 30 minutes! The cinematography is truly terrific. Hope you didn’t get too frozen out there. I'm guessing it was just the three of you and your friends and a handful of adventurous souls on the islands, since all the locals probably fled to Spain?😄
