Shawn, I apologize for the length of this comment in advance. Two weeks ago I was reading the comments and many talked about how happy you seem now. I've been following you since the beginning. There were glimpses of happiness from you. I remember one time with you and Cali on the side porch and your visit to Dick Proenneke's cabin. You had a smile and gleam in your eyes. I didn't see that again until your girls came to the cabin for Christmas and when you tasted your wife's pizza. I'm so happy for you that you have found your true happiness with your wife joining you at the cabin. Thanks again for sharing your journey with us! You make my day brighter! God Bless!!

And then he covers her braised chicken well seasoned and covered in herbs with half a gallon of some crap grocery store hot sauce. Franks maybe? I cook for people who do that to my food just once, ever. They want me to cook for them again and I flat cover it in habanero powder. Goes the same for catsup people or folks that put A1 on steak.

I agree! They are missing a unique opportunity to expand their coverage of this new way of life by exploring the wife’s view as she adjusts to and establishes her comfort zone. Other wives who are contemplating or on the verge of making a similar life style change like this would benefit from her experiences. : )

Learned something new every day camp fire ours was made with bricks use to go in Desert truck lode fun as well and bean steam make jelly work hard ‼️was good life Proud hello to Cali Smiles 🐾🐾Proud of you and wife 😊😊 ty for sharing beautiful world freedom Nature priceless wonders if there is bee 🐝 hives there? We hade our own bee hives sold organic honey as well made candles all organic everything goats milk cheese ect pigs garden hudge canned food for winter amazing Proud 😊➡️🐝🍀

I haven't been following every single episode of this adventure. But... I was surprised to see his wife. I don't know now any more. She will spoil all that solitude. Peacefulness. Harmony. He must get rid of her. What if she starts rearranging his furniture and his house. Plus since she is there dog gets far less attention. Wife was a really bad idea.

I have watched and binged watched many of your videos over the last several months and have felt inspired, calm and interested. During this video, I closed my eyes several times just to listen to your movements, the Forest and Cali walking around. It was very comforting. At the end of this video, after watching Cali climb the snow hill to be with you two, and then crawl into your lap, tears welled up in my eyes. I was at Peace. Best channel on KZfaq. And I dont own a TV.

Such a gorgeous video, so many sounds and the beauty of the surroundings. That chicken looked soooo goood, I am now officially starving. But best of all was Shawnn and Mrs. Shawn enjoying some romantic time together. That's what it's all about, two people on a journey together through life, with Cali trying to claim Shawn's lap :D That was sooo cute!!! Wow how beautiful it must be to live the way our ancestors did before all this technology took over our world as we know it. That’s when families were more united, social with one another. I remember growing up I used to love watching little house in the prairie, just the way that they lived was so beautiful. In some footage I watched late last night, you were gathering birch bark to start a fire, and at the same time the sun broke through the clouds and lit up the entire tree and it looked like it turned the tree into solid gold. it was truly magical looking and unreal. I got so caught up in it I whistled at Cali in the distance to get her attention one time when you were up sawing. 😮☺️ 🤣. That’s how much I get into and love your videos!! LOL ~ Cali stole the video ~ Awwww so sweet She says make room for me as she climbs up and over to snuggle between Mom & Dad. What a Peaceful, Beautiful Night cuddled by the fire. Dinner looked Delicious too! May the Joy you felt tonight be with you ~ forever
