This character concept is really creative, I think - at least I couldn't even think about it as interpretation of this aegis. Angelic design is rare for magical girls, and even if it happens, the magic is then usually healing or light reaalted. So this design is both suiting and unique. Also her role in the team... Surprisingly I feel like this is what Chloe/ Queen Bee could be in Miraculous if they hadn't wasted her potential. Of course with different "flavour" - rather showing of and intimidating than mesmerizing, but still the great distraction, especially with people knowing who she is.

I really love your designs on your OC characters. also out of curiosity will the tiger snd wolf Aegis be male or female? either way it'll be amazing like the other two characters. Nightingale sounds like a tragic person, which I wouldn't doubt that was what you were going for.

This is one of the most prettiest characters you have ever made. Her having a rainbow opal stone and it being also inspiration to her outfit is also pure perfection. She is so gorgeous omg, what i also adore is that she has the same colors that libras have, which is pastel pink and pastel blue. Even though october isnt her birthday, and she just has a rainbow opal based on her character, it being an accidenal coincidence is pretty awesme. It all ties in to her character that perfectly

For as apparently serene and visually stunning as this character is, she seems like a very volatile character based on your personality description. Maybe not outwardly volatile like other emotion-based characters tend to be, but certainly in a psychological sense. And I am ecstatic to see how she works with the rest of the team! Nightingale is definitely one i will be keeping an eye on…. Well done! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it yet again. Your artwork is gorgeous, your character design is perfection, and your writing sense is keen! I cannot wait for more Wildward content, nor can I wait to see how the actual story of Wildward turns out! Impeccable job!!!

I love the design and story ahhh also Headcannon: I feel like outside of nightendale she feels on a different level than everyone. A figure in the background.She can't get people to notice her and she struggles with self worth.

Nightingale is probably my favorite at the moment, both due to her Aegis being my favorite of the bunch and because, like you said, she is the most classically "magical girl" looking one of the group so far. I also get super excited whenever you bring up Tokyo Mew Mew because that's one of the series that most powerfully influenced my love of the magical girl genre as a whole (with Sailor Moon being either tied with it or just barely winning by a small margin). Your characters and storytelling capabilities continue taking my breath away just as much as when I first found you, and I'm do excited to see and hear more about these characters soon!

I know I personally don't mind if you want to keep your face private, Calli. No matter what you look like, or how long you decide to wait, I think you're a beautiful person, and deserve all the love and support in the world! I very much adore the design for Nightingale. She looks like she would light up the night sky, like she were made of the light of the stars herself. Though I can't help but wonder if the wielders of bird Aegis leave behind feathers or down, like when birds preen themselves, and pluck broken feathers. Or, maybe they aren't quite as fragile as the animals they take after? I'm so excited to see what comes in the future, Calli! Keep up the amazong work!

Perhaps when you start writing the story you can give deeper meaning of connection between the hero version vs the normal version. The one thing I liked about miraculous was the meaning of the miraculous for adrien. He wanted to be free from his fathers clutches. That’s why he became chat noir. He wanted to feel free. Maybe you could establish such a meaning to each character themselves. Maybe A girl who never got to show her talent for nightingale!

She's so gorgeous and ethereal! I'd love to see what kind of inner struggles she deals with, considering the emotion powers she possesses!

I think nightingale with be my favorite because of the potential issues of having the emotion ability. Definitely a close second to my favorite hero/villain form since im pretty in love with Felle Noir. Amazing design as always Cali

Her pose and lyre in her hands reminds me of Venti from Genshin Impact. And the concept of birds is perfect for Venti. I love her design :D

This is probably my favourite character so far,nightingale has such a mystic air to her,the design is amazing and the fact the mask looks like tears showing emotion and it makes me wonder if that's how Nightingale usually feels I'm so invested into Wildward now I would love this to be an actual show

Wow, I also thought of mint when watching you draw, though it was more speculating what her personality could be like. I'm in a toss up if its going to be a timid personality while in hero form, (which matches with the sadness and melancholy of the character) or someone who enjoys the spotlight and flaunting to the enemy ( or a personality like mint) (which also seems possible based on the magnificance of their preformances (though it also supports the prior theory)) But anyways, she looks so magnificent, the lighting on the clothes looked so good! Can't wait for the story!

I absolutely love love LOVE this one. Little thing about the glove though. I used to play in an orchestra a few years back and for the strings players, we couldn’t wear the gloves for our costumes because the gloves change how the strings are plucked and it doesn’t sound as refined. I’d put the glove on her non-dominant hand because her dominant hand should be plucking the strings. She is truly lovely, though.

I absolutley adore this series and it inspires me to create more of my own stories, so thank you so much! As much as I love Ulara and Felle, this is my favorite design. She seems to move with grace and elegance as well as a dazzling spectacle in performance. Also I couldn't help, but notice that part of the background track sounded like Fairytail's theme lol. I'm probably wrong, but really nice music :)

I love these designs!! However, playing a stringed instrument with gloves is incredibly hard, and she'd have to be incredibly skilled. If she had the glove on the other hand she doesn't play with, you could instead give her finger picks, which could further the asymmetry of the outfit and give her more accessories on her hands that aren't just for show! (Which could give the symbolism of her being more than just for show, everything she does is for a reason.)

Your character concept are really detailed and creative.......the fact that you took MLB and made it your own .......The Angelic theme really suits her,keep up the good work and keep the videos coming

alright before anyone calls me a hater; I LOVE HER DESIGN. It's absolutely amazing and so thought out. however, I have some problems with her harp :( 1. it's a lyre! harps can get pretty small, however, what she is wielding is a lyre. Close but not quite the same, lyres draw their roots from Mesopotamia (so old!) while harps are of Irish decent 2. wearing gloves would actually *prevent* her from using her instrument properly. Stringed instruments-- especially harps -- can't be used very well whilst wearing gloves. Gloves dampen the strings and produce a shorter, uglier sound. Harpists must build callouses from years of playing before it stops hurting. Having her be glove-less feels almost appropriate for her, her attacks hurt others and her like how emotional outburst aimed at harming someone else also hurts the attacker (like yelling at your friend then feeling bad) (source: am a harpist)

Also, can I just say that I smell the trauma?? Especially Nightingale. She's so tragic and I don't even know that much about her!! She's also just... beautiful. Her appearance is stunning. You've managed to show everything so wonderfully through just designs!! She's also an empath (that's what it's called, right?) and that fits the songbird aegis so much!!

What you said about them being able to go through the entire range of emotions within a minute but being spent afterwards reminds me of a small exercise my drama teacher made us do in which I was praised for my performance (especially on "scared") but I felt like vomiting afterward and was left so emotionally confused that I wanted to just break down and cry TwT

Awesome design Nightingale looks beautiful. Also, one thing I noticed about all of the wildward hero designs is that they all have this translucent fabric on them. Don't know if it's intentional or not but if it is I like it, it gives this added bit of cohesion to girls.

I love this design, and i think it fits her description perfectly. With winged characters is so easy to feel like they need to be symmetrical, but her asymmetry really lends to that unstable and emotional idea.

When I first heard of the songbird from the original video, I was expecting some sort of epic bard who could change peoples actions with a folk song or something, but this was a pleasant surprise. I really like the concept of her being some elegant hero who some people view as a god. Really like how you described how she sings!

Another amazing design! I love how you incorporated the wings into her hero form and how her weapon of choice is a harp!

Now for my thoughts on this character, Love the idea behind her and I hope I'm right about her being the main character. As for her artwork, her dynamic pose is phenomenal and her harp I really love that it's the same color as her instead of just being gold. The right pose however; I have issues with, her gloved hand looks weird, and not because it's not on the same hand, but because the fingers look very off and playdoughy. Also her pelvis and thighs have disappeared when compared to her dynamic pose?

The way my head snapped back to my computer hearing Fairy Tail music in the background was unholy. I love all these designs! I just binged the playlist! I look forward to future designs from you ♥

I think that Nightingale's description kind of reminds me of the prominent Val'Illhardro and the Val'Sullisin'rune clans prominent abilities in the long running web comic Drow Tales: Moonless Age (which is just now coming to an end and blending into the creator's next series Hel). Both clans use abilities to influence emotions, but where the Sullisin'rune uses the power of the mind to influence what happens to you, while the Illhardro uses the ability but also uses sound to make it more effective, and can directly influence actions. The ability is called Spell Song, and they can make you bend the knee simply by telling you to telling you to kneel. This ability has another and it involves to create sonic waves powerful enough to knock an enemy back and in some cases rip entire buildings apart. Both abilities are kinda OP, and one of my favourite characters in the series is a member of the Illhardro clan. Fair warning for anyone wanting to get into the series: It is very intrigue heavy, it is very long, and it has it's moments where it is incredibly dark, but the art is gorgeous, the characters are well written, and the artist Kerne allows you to make characters based on the series and allows you to have your own drow tales character in the series provided you pay for it, and give detailed descriptors. I don't know if he's going to do it for Hel, but he did do it for Moonless Age. I feel like anyone may want to wait a few chapters in as there's not much out there about Hel other than concepts for a few characters, creatures in the series what some of the places look like, and such. Though back to your design, she is over all gorgeous, and kind of reminds me of a Ballerina, especially with her in what almost resembles a releve pose. Her dress also kinda gives me ballet vibes more than anything.

She is exactly what i wanted my character Hostia to be, but he ended up hilariously pathetic and weak. hopefully with your characters inspiration i can reshape him into tragically elegant.

I love this design! Her colour scheme is amazing, and I can definetly see the song bird inpiration. I also love the backstory and everything about it. I just have one thing. As a guitar player, I know that isn't a harp but it's pretty close, we don't wear gloves to pluck strings. As much as they do hurt to , not pluck, there is nothing about it that should be protected with a glove. Plus, the glove would change the width of your finger and would be a harder to play with if you are constantly playing with and without the glove, constantly changeing the width of the fingers. Another thing, the glove doesn't look skin tight, which means that the glove would move around on the hand, making it harder to play. It would make more sense to have it on her hand that she uses to hold the harp. I do love the glove idea and the as-symmetry, I am just thinking of the practicality of it. Again, love the design, just that tiny detail.

EY PRETTY LADY??? I love her design (and especially her colors) so much!! Also I was one of the people wondering, "But do they *have* faults??" So it's good you cleared that up! ^^ And I think it would be interesting if one member of the team actually has a *negative* reputation as opposed to a positive one (as in she's seen as being a generally bad and maybe not so great/smart gal) but perhaps she wants that and uses it to her advantage? But it also would probably mean that her teammates are always questioning why the darn this woman is on the party with them when she's not useful :')
