I loved your Calm Down sweater. It looks great on you. The horse is adorable! I know those kind of projects are a lot of work. I’m glad you’re leaning in to the discomfort of the stripes of the vertices unite Shawl, I bet you will grow to love the finished product. Happy 3 year old birthday to Ollie! How fun! I just finished my vertices unite shawl in the small size! I decided to make it after watching your shawl video (which I absolutely loved, along with your DK sock video!). I found that every sequential section had something just different enough to keep me interested. Hope you end up loving yours!❤

That color on you, Hannah! It makes you shine❤ love this sweater! As to the v-neck or crew neck situation: I think the Halow V-Neck is beautiful and would be lovely in that yarn. You just need to be sure how you want to style it. The v is quite deep, so if you plan to wear T-Shirts underneath (like today) it would be a great option, I think. I guess it would show off the yarn a bit better than a more structured knit?

THAT COLOR ON YOU IS EVERYTHING!!! I had a thought about the sweater dilemma-to v neck or not to v neck….I am loving the look of v neck sweaters over a white tshirt right now and it seems like that might be your preferred way to style them too? I wonder if the hand dyed yarn and marzipan over a white tee wouldn’t give quite enough contrast for your liking? I think that might be worth considering by really holding it up against a white tee and feeling out whether or not you like that combo with your completion! If you like the tee + yarn, go v neck! But if you prefer that gorgeous color right up to your beautiful face, I’d go crew neck!!! Food for thought! I can’t wait to see what it turns into!! 💛

Hannah you look wonderful in this color!!! I’m knitting a V neck sweater too and going to be mindful of how low the v is. I knit the Stockholm V neck vest and looks nice with a tee or a button down. Love your knits

Absolutely spend as much time with family as you can. I grew up with large families on both Mama and Daddy’s sides and everyone lived locally. Being close to Grands, Aunts, Uncles, cousins grounded me. It is good to know your people.

Your Calm Down Sweater turned out wonderful. The dye lot issue is not very noticeable and if you didn’t point it out, no one would notice. Honestly. It is lovely and very pretty. Be happy wearing it.
