I unfortunately didn't play minecraft until high school and the soundtrack brings me such a sense of relief but unlike the nostalgia people feel for their childhood it just makes me wish I played it as a kid too :/

I wouldn’t call myself a Minecraft veteran, but I’ve been playing since 1.8 and still love the game, but man, back then when I was on a single player world and just figuring out what everything does while this music played in the background, it was absolutely magical. Quite a few years after that, around 2019-2020, I went on a random multiplayer server because it was the weekend or something and I was bored, and I met these players who were about my age, and man we had so much fun together. After that, I didn’t seen them again, and I didn’t even remember it until one of my friends invited me to a little SMP they had been working on with friends. So I joined the discord and hopped on the Minecraft world, and turns out, it was them, from all those years ago, and turns out I knew a lot of them already as personal real life friends. One of them remembered my name and my old Xbox live account from the time we played together, and we started to get to know each other, and, a few months after that, we fell in love. I’ve never before encountered someone as likeminded to me as her before, nor have I encountered anyone as kind and as caring and intelligent and loving as her. In fact, she’s going to come visit in about a week and a half. I know I’m probably gonna be viewed as another sappy comment, but I really wouldn’t be who I am right now without Minecraft. Thank you, mojang. For everything.

I was greeted with this wonderful song as I opened up Minecraft for the first time in ten years, I look at my old worlds and start to laugh as I look at the names... Some of them had memorials of my dead friends... I open up my last opened world, It was a tribute world to Technoblade, I walked about, sobbing silently as I looked at all the memories that he made with us on his streams... I couldn't hold them back anymore, I had to, I sobbed loudly as I put the controller down, My mind flashing with his words "Technoblade Never dies" I miss his streams, his last video broke my heart... This made me remember that nice smell I smelled for some reason in the summer when the windows were open and the house was clean and I was playing Minecraft or Minecraft story mode. Aaaah the good old days

for the past 3-4 days the only way ive been able to actually sleep is this playlist and i dont know what about it is different from the millions of others but it brings back so many more memories of having my laptop open as a kid and letting the music play from the loading screen to go to sleep or the evenings where me and my brother would play split screen minecraft on his xbox 360. today i still contemplate asking him to play again for old times sake on local play where we would have building competitions or where we would inevitably delete a minecraft world because one of us grew up before the other and although the years between us stay the same, it feels like we're growing apart in a way only a good game of minecraft can undo.

It's 12:20am and i didn't know this Loneliness can sometimes be comforting.

This comment isn't like my normal silly ones but I guess it's something I really want to write lol. I still remember the days when I used to play Minecraft with my friends. I was only seven years old back then, and the world seemed like such a magical place. I'd spend hours exploring the game's vast landscapes, building incredible structures, and battling fierce enemies. Whenever I was feeling down, I'd turn to Minecraft to escape from my school struggles and depression. I was extremely depressed through the years, and at the age of 11 i tried to take my life for the first time, i failed, but only three years later i tried again, i was taken to the hospital and later transferred to a mental hospital, i still sometimes wish my attempt had worked, i guess. i wanted to have some sort of relief from the pain i felt, and at some point, i guess Minecraft wasn't enough so sh and attempts made me feel better. And obviously also school was tough for me. I was constantly bullied and was under a lot of stress as a gt student. But when I played Minecraft, I had a group and place that made me comfortable and happy, genuinely. My friends and I would build and be dumbasses, hours on end. But as I got older, things started to change. My friends moved away, all of them, i had literally no one, and i even moved at one point lol. I found it harder and harder to keep up with the game's updates and new features. Minecraft was no longer the escape it once was. It became a reminder of a simpler time.

Recently revisited the minecraft world me and my brother played on when we were 4, and the nostalgia is so fucking heavy. I remember building everything there.
