Most companies seem to give me vague and limited info but the few I’ve asked say parabolic as part of a gvm upgrade is straight up ‘no’ or too hard basket. Again I appreciate your help mate!

Mate thanks for all your time n effort the vids are great. I’m looking at getting a gvm upgrade to about 4/4.2t 6:06 on a new dual cab v8 79 cruiser Ute. What in your opinion is the best company/product/setup to go with bearing in mind I’ll be getting a track corrected diff and increased axel load rating and it needs to be leaf sprung atleast 500 kg constant. Did you consider coil converting when you decided on your portal build ? I’m stuck deciding if I really need the portals/coils or of a simpler pre rego kit will do. Cheers

Thanks for your practical videos, you convinced me on those TT parabolic leafs 👌I have a 2022 model and fitted a Terrain Tamer suspension kit, 500-700kg parabolics, 50-100kg smart coils and their big bore shocks and currently run 285/75R16 Maxxis Razr MT. Love the setup. Also waiting for my superior high clearance plates to lift the shock mount in the rear. Once I've upgraded my brakes I'd like to go to 315/75R16, will they fit or will I need some more lift? Thanks again for the great videos

Interested in your thoughts mate. In regards to shock orientation I understand your example of the mud ect going hard and doing damage in that regard when running shaft high. I can't help but think it would be worse to run the exposed shaft near the ground due to chance of road rash or coming into contact with rocks and what not. What do you reckon? Cheers in advance 👍👍

Hi mate, I’m looking at 3 inch dobinsons kit for my 79. Acouple questions for you. Do you need to extend brake lines? Or any other modifications when going 3 inch. Is it legal to run 3 inch lift without engineering? Thanks mate

Could you fit a 4inch front shock and take advantage of the additional travel? Would the up travel with the 4inch front shock be enough?

hey mate, had my eye on those shocks for a bit. tossing up between them or a set of fox 2.0 from mikes shock shop. Did you try the bilsteins with the sway bar back in?
