Calv is so down to Earth it’s easier to watch this guy than top gear simply cuz he’s so REAL. Superb content you can’t get elsewhere! He even gets cars tuned on this channel it’s so interesting. 👍🏽👌🏾🔥

The traction kicking in is the reluctor rings expanding overtime and getting to close to the ABS sensor i had this and needed a new drive shaft I heard you can just replace the ring and sensor but mine was beyond that :D

TheOnlyRookie rings snapped on my 1 series stopping it from going over 10mph. Had to hold the traction control button to turn it off fully so I could drive it.

TheOnlyRookie having this issue with my e90. Mechanic said it’s most likely reluctor rings. Getting it booked in next week 👍

@@dalealston2290 just stick a washer under the sensor then bolt it back on, job done no more traction and abs lights, mechanic will kick you in the balls changing out them rings

Just code the car so the DTC is permanetly off on every start up. #fixed

@@VSTV1993 just add a washer under the sensor to allow for the swelling then all is good, traction control is quite a handy feature this time of year lol

Who else has gone straight onto ebay looking for cheap tourings?!! Love e46 tourings perfect styling for an estate. I ran a topaz blue 330I touring for 5 years...sold it with 165m and it was still as tight as a drum. Great car. Good luck with the project...fingers crossed it will get a clean bill of health.

Problems I had with my 330d running rough was injectors needed reconditioned and prop donut ✌️

E46 330d is one of my favorite BMW's. Pls go through with the project. Would love to see what u can do with it. I'm a fan from South Africa. The traction control light flickering is a wheel speed sensor issue.

I think cars should have a engine cut off when they exceed a certain amount of days with overdue oil and filter changes. Simple maintenance 😥

@@neilmurphy845 i do it on the drive, its about a 15 minute job depending on the size of your car (mines a polo) and costs much less than what a garage would charge and another plus is you know for sure which oil your putting in. You don't know what these garages are using to save on money

By far my favourite car channel on KZfaq, I’ve got to ask mate, who makes the #ONIT stickers for a pound? Not stealing trade mate I’m a gardening channel haha just curious. Either way keep the videos coming (I watch every episode)

You should do something against the rust... cause that looks nasty & I think the mechanical problem won't be a major problem. A tip to clean the dirty marks f.e. in the trunk is to first use a product, scrub it in and than use a steamer + vacuum to get it all out.

I have a 330cd and I love it. 296bhp and 450ftbls surprises a lot of people. They sound good with a 3 inch down pipe and straight pipe.

Just discovered the channel couple days ago and it's really good content, keep up doing what you do. P.S. a 330d touring project has already been done by car throttle. What i haven't seen around on youtube is a 335i e92 with the N54 engine which could also be a great project car.

😭 my old car...gutted to see whats happened to it..it is 184bhp model, i had it mapped to 217bhp and nearly 400lbs ft of torque, wheels are calibre vintage. Would love to buy this back, should never of sold it .

Driveshaft pick up/reluctor rings swollen and corroded. Turn DTC off and see what happens, if it pulls like a goodun, chuck some rings on boi! Let’s 🤞🏻

I saw your fuel gauge was reading zero... Some cars restrict engine power and some (Jaguar for example) even intentionally create a missfire to encourage the driver to refuel ASAP.

pickup rings on the shaft corrode after a while and fuck up the ABS.

I had this exact same car same wheels and all with a 6 speed manual swapped in but after an accident without insurance I still sold it for 1500, 100 is just shocking 🤯

I’m a fairly newish driver and had my first car which is a Peugeot 208 1.4 diesel automatic. It’s a good little runner but would like to umph it up a little. Not talk track car specs just make it a decent car, however I have now clue of mods that will achieve this, or even where I could go that will do the sort of work VRS does but for Peugeot cars. Any help will be appreciated immensely!

The car was made before September 2001, the rules are different

@@bigjak7358 no it's not any different. They are German style pressed plates. No metal pressed plates are mot standard. I am a tester and would fail any car with pressed plates mate. And the text font is illegal.

Rusty Nail then your a jobsworth I’ve had pressed plates for over 5 years on all my cars and I’ve never had an mot tester say anything.

@@adamtaylor3201 not a jobs worth if that car gets stopped and a ticket for the plates and the guy days "it only passed the test a few weeks ago with them on" then it's on the tester. I wouldn't risk my test license for the sake of number plates. They are a failure and that's it. Not like a cracked screen which can happen anytime or a nail in a tyre I let a lot go but not something obvious like plates.

calvin the 330d 184 bhp manauls dont have swirl flaps only autos.but all 204 bhp have them think vrs should no his cars and driving with no fuel 330ds dont like it reason why the thing is playing up
