Just a little surprised that we are talking about this before the season even starts. This is nothing new. We have gone through great players leaving in the past like James Harrison who played 5 more seasons after leaving the Steelers for Cincy; and, Rod Woodson who left the Steelers to go to the 49ers, but ended up in Baltimore the year after that and played 7 additional seasons after leaving Pittsburgh. Rod also was selected to the Pro Bowl 4-times after leaving Pittsburgh and changing from CB to FS.

He may have others that would want him, but are other teams going want to pony up and give him what he wants at 35 years old coming off and off year due to injury. This season will determine whether he gets paid.

At his age, he should be on a performance contract. If he doesn’t play, he gets no pay. Nobody is going to sign a cemented contract for him next year.

If he's the captain of the team if he's the leader of the team then give him a contract, the Steelers doesn't want to give him a contract. He's going to have to prove his value at his age.

The browns will definitely pay him. They love waisting money. And personally in my opinion. I say let him go. He's to old and can not stay healthy for the season.
