Love Tim Gillingham !!! Such a down to earth guy. Seems like a great guy to spend time with. Bowtech lost a good one, good move for Mathews. Every single time i hear or watch Tim speak he says something that peaks my curiosity and makes me reevaluate the way i do my archery. Kudos to this channel for keeping up with the great content and 3D coverage.

I can relate on the age thing, just started shooting a TRX 38 @67lbs and at 51 not sure how many stabilizers I should add to improve my aim...have a long one in front, and 1 12" in back, with 5oz on each. Just took a shot from 40, and would say the pin was still moving all directions in about a 3in circle on target, still hit the 12, barely...

Oh and Tim Paige’s draw length may help with the little doink shot but your length allows you to shoot 27’s at 300 + fps. vs 23’s at mid 280’s. I know my draw length is like hers. 😢. Unknown distance you win be we get to the stake. 😂

Bowtech dropped the ball letting Tim go, Kyle too. I will never shoot a Matthews, but my next bow will definitely not be from Bowtech.

Crazy, I could maybe see them releasing Tim Gillingham because of his age (although he’s still the winningest guy in ASA) but Kyle Douglas? Doesn’t make any sense. Who’s left for Bowtech, Paige and… that’s it?

Tim looks like he is so blown away by Bowtech and the decision! I don’t know the background story but it appears he got Screwed and I won’t purchase a new Bowtech due to this. I own 3-4 new bows a year.. I blow money like a Vegas street walker.

Think he is shooting the trx40 from what he said on the bow junkie podcast, because of his drawlength. I image mathews will figure something out, maybe a mod or something to make the title fit him.

When Bowtech started I shot their product for years and they were on top of the Game with Mathews! Then they had shitty limbs and everyone stayed away(2013-2018) years. Now it appears they Did Tim whom I thought was an Excellent ambassador to an Archery company go! The transition sounds Dirty. Maybe that’s why the Bowtech Carbon One bows are all over archery talk and eBay for 700 bucks?

Why didn't they set up Gilllingham with an atlas? I hope they use Tim to continue developing long draw bows like the atlas. I want a lift version of the atlas damnit!!!!

Glad to see Tim on the rebound.....but what BOWTECH did to him and Kyle......I hope the way they ousted Tim and Kyle bite's em in the ass and cost them their own asses in bow sales

I wished they let them ride out their contracts and ended it better, but Bowtech made the right move in terms of business. Those two were costing them more money than they were bringing in, plain and simple. Both are assets to the community, but the archery industry itself is driven by hunting and recreation, not target competition.

Bowtech doesn't think normal folk notice their business practices, better rethink that. I'm just a normal shooter/bow hunter and I had some bad experiences with them regarding warranty issues. But, Bowtech, I saw how you treated Tim Gillingham. What you did was unprofessional, and just down right dirty. You think it won't trickle down to your sales of hunting bows? I will never own another Bowtech bow. It's that simple. I don't like your "flagship" plastic limb pockets, your crappy factory strings, and how you treated Gillingham is the straw. There are plenty of quality bows on the market without having to shop from a Bowtech catalog.
