It definitely wouldn’t hurt, but not necessary! I’d say do it to get the best performance out of them, but nothing will be harmed if not!

Hey! I’d say any defect calls for an email atleast! Don’t think it would matter too much, but when you pay for it you should get what you paid for!

@@BrendanMacieAutos so you think a shop can fix it? or would the bent collector effect any air flow or cause any exhaust leaks?

would u return it or it doesnt effect anything and you can still use the headers even though their bent? @@BrendanMacieAutos

@@xxchrisgamerxx6850 I would definitely ask the company first if it’s normal, I don’t see how it would effect any airflow but like I said, you pay for something and you should get exactly what the product is! Also, check to make sure the bends aren’t intentional, my exhaust had a “pinched” part in it that seemed wrong but was 100% fine. Ask them, then go from there!

the thing is monday i have an appointment to get the headers installed and a tune. i was going to see if they could unbend it. im in florida and speed engineering is in cali which is 3 hours behind. Would you try and see if a performance shop can unbend it or wait and call speed engineering ? @@BrendanMacieAutos
