It is Wednesday the 12th of June and today is all about infrastructure. We get some Japanese high speed trains, update you on the new airport in Phnom Penh, check in on the new port, seize some assault weapons, inspect some roads, and as always, we finish on a high note with some good news!

Claire and Jeremy, Thank you once again. I think your description of the new trains being High Speed Rail HSR)is a little optimistic. Perhaps you should call it NSESR (Not So Excruciatingly Slow Rail). And those pesky road dividers are still at it.

The borders are pretty fluid, so it most likely came from a war zone and got smuggled in 😢

Luckily Cambodia doesn't have a 2nd amendment right to bear arms like here in the states. Interesting cow news. I think it would have been easier to just tell the guilty bovine to mooove than go through all that educational guff. Nice story about the children getting meals before school. Have a happy. ✌️

Laos has high speed trains and it's still extremely charming. So I think Cambodia will be the Kingdom of wonder for many more years to come.
