The best! They were helping clean up the river bank. You will see kids sweeping the footpaths outside school some times also.

My heart goes out to the mother or those children what a tragedy. An innocent life was lost to a weapon of war that was planted decades ago and the countries responsible for it refuse to clean up their mess.

I haven’t been out on the equinox but it is just so beautiful to be linked with the designers of Angkor Wat in this way. The same sun, the world has changed so much, but the beauty and wonder of this event is still completely captivating. Good luck Jeremy !

It was a terrible experience for that family. Unfortunately some maybe to deep to find and eventually make their way to the surface. Landmines are horrible tools of war.

Claire, your videos are very educational, Siem Reap looks like a great place, but I don't see how I could ever adjust to a place at 36 degrees Celsius even before the summer..... I don't know how any foreigners do it.....

I think Thailand is actually hotter than Cambodia at the moment. SE Asia is hot, you take the good with the bad. Plus Aircon helps.

@@ForRiel In theory you're right, but as a practical matter....if it's 36 degrees in March, then future months would be much worse. Any time outside results in sweating, wet of clothes, and feeling worn out.... that sounds tough.... Hanoi seems milder.....
