So awesome that Cambodia has vehicle manufacturing. 6 factories - wow . I’m currently in Danang Vietnam 🇻🇳- they also manufacture an electric car & scooter for the local market . So ridiculous that Australia Sold all our car manufacturing deals and we can’t make our own cars ????? Always happy news from the kingdom Thanks Claire

Well I hope the investment in kampot helps and doesn’t ruin it like it did Sihanoukville. Hopefully they will invest in the infrastructure in kampot as they could use another bridge for autos crossing the river as a bridge with one lane each way is getting to much traffic. I was just in kampot a few months ago and they were redoing the road to kep which made it a horrible drive.I just hope kampot doesn’t stop becoming the town that many of us love to visit.

Yes, I agree with that. The port is a little way out of town, so hopefully its impact won't be too great. They could do with another bridge further upstream, but I am not sure they would see it as a viable option. Thank you for watching.

Hi Clare I was in Siem Reap on Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday, I used Cambodian Post airport shuttle, $9 each way and took less than an hour each way, I don't like the new airport,

I was looking at the prices of the Toyotas on display at the River Festival-the three they had were marked at $10,000 higher than the price for the same car in the US. I’m assuming that’s import tax. Having factories here might bring that down?
