the camel spitting on Hope was totally ad-libbed by the camel! The director thought it was so hilarious he left it in. Crosby ad-libs, good girl, good girl while laughing

That was completely unplanned; Bob Hope supposedly hadn't paid attention to the camel handler's instructions. But they left it on the film anyway.

Nothing could ever match the talent, chemistry and pure charm of these two. Except for Julie Andrews and whoever she works with, because she’s Julie freaking Andrews. 😊
