They make perfect junk journal pockets.
Use them to store ephemera, give as gifts with greeting cards or gift cards inside.

Love this idea Julie. Don't feel bad, I was raised with 4 older brothers and well, I tried to be like them once, and Mom was in the room. Needless to say I only used a swear word one time, the taste of soap was super unpleasant. And then wouldn't you know it, I had 4 sons. But I remember the taste of that soap. And I just grumble under my breath. lol so easy to pick up bad habits.

@roxannefechtman7666 Just take some cardstock that is "slightly larger" the same width but is long enough to overlap the entire pocket, folds included. It needs to be "just" loose enough to slide the pocket in and out. I was thinking of using clear mailing seals on the short sides for mailing purposes. Address it and it can be mailed.Dont know what it would cost. LOL.

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns I'm making a owl junk journal for a friend for Christmas and I had all of these little quotes that gave information about the owls and I didn't know what to do with them. But when I saw you make these lovely expandable envelopes I knew this is what I needed so I made one and I backed all my little descriptions and distress them and put them all in the envelope. I just love it what a handy idea blessings and hugs always

@@CameliaCraftsDesigns yeah I had to look it up last night, I found out it’s about an aging pros***ute (not sure if you’d get in trouble if I wrote that word). I remember learning it, possibly with changed lyrics on the only Sunday school outing I was allowed on. That might of been because that’s where I learned the tongue twister ‘I’m not a pheasant plucker’ 😁

Hi Helen, that's my sort of trick. Now there's an idea, a password journal, except we aren't supposed to write them down are we. I bet some 22 year old with a memory came up with that idea. I may have to start wearing a tag with my name and address on soon, nevermind passwords😅☺️🤗
