Both these fold out accordion journal inserts come from one sheet with no measuring.
You can even use these as stand alone accordion folios.
The Folio can be made from a US letter size or A4 sheet of card or scrapbook paper or any sheet of card or paper can be adapted. You'll see what i mean when you watch.
I'm using some cream 160gsm/110lb cardstock and decoratind with Tim Holtz Field Notes and Eccentric Stamp sets, book pages and various ephemera.
These would make perfect snail mail or happy mail gifts and also make perfect ephemera to pop into your junk journals, planners or whatever.

I always thought I was a messy crafter. Then I crafted in the same room with my niece. It was the mecca of junk journal crafting. Just catch bits falling from her table but I couldn’t keep up. I had so much fun. She taught me I am, in fact, a neat Nancy crafter. Ah well, no one is perfect.

Hi sweetie, I just love everything you make. You can waffle as much as you want. I was visiting a local second hand store yesterday and found a real treasure. It was a book full of very old fashion receipts, travel logs, library cards etc only cost $2. I have not seen any anything like this before. I think my friend was a little bit jealous so I will photocopy the pages and give them to her. I didn’t have many things like that but now I think these will last a very long time. Off now to make one or more of these folder thingees for my scrapbook. Give Nala hugs and kisses hope she is well. Weeeeeeeeeee bye for now…..🙀🥰🌹🦋

It is so good hearing you talk about menopause. I had a child when I was 39 and started having white temples. Now I am 51 and going white. I never dyed my hair, it is a colour nothing else. I was born a redhead, then the hair turned brown and now I get to be a blonde😂🎉I went in to pre-menopause at age 44 and am lucky to, so far, not having big mood swings, but do have small hot flushes, fat moving from my bum to my belly😏and interrupted sleep. I am more at peace with myself now than ever before in my life. Did not enjoy reaching 50 but like it more than the alternative😉We are women and we are strong😊

Julie, I enjoyed this so much, lots of waffling and laughs and fun and an awesome projects that I am so ready to do! I often feel like “if I can do it anyone can” but that’s not necessarily true, cause we all see things differently. So carry on with your waffle crafty training videos. i have to answer your questions as i watch otherwise i will forget 🤣yes i also enjoy your longer videos - Elmers Xtreme - can't find it here in the states either and if you do its $7/stick - crazy - and Tim Holtz stamps - set it up on your stamping board - stamp thick ones first - then remove those and then stamp the shallow ones - 🙃and to the person who said How do i know if I won? lol lol - must not be a loyal viewer - wow - BUT Julie i love these little accordion inserts - something perfect for me to create and send out as Happy Mail - thank you and be well 🤗🤗

I know you all say that we should use what we've got, but I really must get myself some tag dies. I've tried cutting them with scissors and I always end up with corners that even Van Gogh would have considered as "too abstract" for his liking. This project is great. I already have the paper and scraps ready.

Waxing the lily?! You’re getting very poetic! I’m so glad you showed us the way to cut the paper to create 2 of these ingeniously folded cards! I was really perplexed by them & hadn’t even tried to use one. Thanks to you, they’re far less confusing!! This was a really fun video, Julie! I answered your question earlier today with the response that most people gave, but I’m in such a mess right now from moving things around in my house, that it’s clear that I’m neither neat & tidy nor good at working in clutter!! I keep hoping if I just can get a handle on the mess, I will be a very organized crafter! 🙄🙄 Who am I kidding?! Oh well! I think I’ll procrastinate & watch another one of your videos! Erica❤

Hi Julie: I actually made the base and inked all around. Love anything small, and this is perfect! Will embellish and stamp like you did. Have the field notes, but not the eccentric stamps. They’re $29.99 on Amazon! I just love the little stars. Oh, well. Your pieces are adorable. Thank you for sharing. 💜😎🇺🇸

So glad you enjoyed it Joanne. Yes i paid £29.99 in the UK which at the moment is about $37 so see why i was a bit miffed with our Timmy. A few subbies in the US say theirs are fine and one other lady in the UK has the thinner ones like i do. I still love them though which i;m annoyed about🤣🤭😘🤗💜
