Күн бұрынOver the past six months, Samsung has released two headlining flagships. The Note 20 Ultra back in August, and the S21 Ultra a few weeks ago.
We were curious to see how the two compared in terms of cameras. Due to its more recent launch, the S21 Ultra has a higher price tag, but does that translate to higher quality?

The camera quality will get better overtime with updates as it always been the case for Samsung Galaxy flagship devices

Nope, after some good updates they slowly started to mess up the photo quality of the Note 9 after some time the Note 10 was out

@@MatadorShifter I agree with you. However if it's a new device the first 8months or a year of the updates will be more about improvements after that the performance, features, battery etc will be more of a downgrade. (I have Note 9 and I left it in October 2020 update as it is the most stable without yellow tint or slow charge. While Note 10+ is running currently on March 2021 update which is a big downgrade lots of bugs than improvements so I will roll back to December 2020 update as it seems to be the most stable with battery life of 10h 30m exynos variant

@bob loblaw if the phones are already matched up one can only imagine how much better the s21 ultra will get after a couple of updates. No need to hate because u have a shitty phone

Not always. My Note 10+ was great with photos, and then came the updates, and the quality considerably went south. I couldn't reverse the update, and I've been disappointed with the camera performance ever since

I think the 5x on the note its a good compromise, and the fact that it has expendable storage is a big deal

I have both the iPhone 12 pro max and the s21 ultra. I've had apple phones since the 4s and my last galaxy was the s2. I took out my s21 ultra for a trip and let me tell you, thosd photos were awesome. Personally, s21 photos were so much better.

This is a great comparison. I'm so torn on what to do for my next upgrade. I have an upgrade available and on Spectrum Mobile. They only carry the S21 Ultra 5G and currently the Note 20 Ultra. With it being 6mos since the Note 20 Ultra release, and not knowing for sure whether or not there will even be a Note this year (since they made the S21 compatible with Spen) -- also I wanted the ZFold2 but not available on Spectrum at the moment (if ever) - This year is the first year I don't know which way to go. Using a Note 10 Plus now. I do like my expandable storage, I am using the 512GB version with an SDXC 512GB card. LOTS of storage for Netflix downloads videos 4k @ 60FPS and my personal music collection. (FYI: I have no budget restrictions on a new model)

Question, why is there such a focus on the CAMERA of these flagship PHONES???? The recent marketing and selling points seem to focus on cameras and refresh rates, when in fact the focus should be on FUNCTIONALITY, INTEGRATION, etc…..especially considering the pricing on these phones…..Wow

I don't see much difference there between both, I mean I think the only two reasons to choose will be maybe the Spen and the SD card, if isn't important and if you want an slightly better camera and one more android update, you can go to the s21

Great comparison. The S21 Ultra is just too thick and too heavy for me to like. Otherwise it's actually the best for cameras in the entire android world. I'll wait for Samsung to refine the 2022 model before I get one

Yeah, since it doesn't have a macro lens neither a software processing for macros, but still you can get a decent close shot, but for a limited focus range

The S21 photos looked way over sharpened so I'd go for the note. The S21 photo at 3:21 looked horribly over sharpened, the note photo looked much better.
