I have a '12 beetle turbo (used) but the dash board inside doesn't match the color from the outside of the car(red) and instead of read it's a black checkered pattern

Hope the 1.8 turbo is better then the 2001 model I had. That engine was a lemon in both my 2005 Passat and 2001 bettle.

As a grown man owning a 2014 V-Dub Bug, it’s a very fun car to drive. I have a baseline cabriolet model. VW should consider making one in 10-15 years with an air cooled rear-engined model. After 2019, VW will discontinue this little bug, and replace it with a VW T-Roc, whatever that vehicle may be.

Sure has come a long way since my 68 model which had the worse heating and defrost system (actually none) which was something of a pain living in a northern winter climate.

Camerons Car Reviews i think those really are plastic hubcaps, not alloys. You can actually see the steel wheels in between the spokes :)

They do look very much like hubcaps but the 1.8 T comes standard with 17 inch alloys.

Get a 2012-2014 they have models with out turbo. I have a 2012 sunroof with nav system and it has a 2.5 L engine.

If VW didn’t screw up the 1st generation of the new beetle the 2nd generation would have been much more successful snd probably still marking and selling them. The 1st generation was crappy, made to fall apart by the time it hit 200k. All the engines leaked, poor quality and other major repairs are numerous. VW gouged owners for expensive parts and repairs.
