Yes, and think when the kids are 80 or 100 years old and they kept their bear and tag how incredible it will be to remember what they stand for.

They really did take great care with all the Paddington’s. There is a lot of love infused into all those bears. From the people who gave them, to the people who picked them up and sorted them out, to the people who washed and cleaned them, and finally into the little hand who very much deserve them.

First of all, the people who hated her back then may not be the same people who praise her now. Secondly, in the seventeen years she has been a member of the royal family, the work she has done is admirable.

I don't think all people are overly awed by her. There're a lot of people who really hate her and people who don't. She didn't take the title 'Princess of Wales' either and she has done a lot of work as a working royal. A lot of us just have to accept that she is Queen Consort. Let's face it though... this was a perfect idea. The Paddington tributes were wonderful. That sketch the late Queen did with Paddington was a delight and introduced newer generations to the monarchy. The bears being handed to that generation and younger is very fitting. In years to come these children will understand the significance of these bears and they'll be priceless and valuable at the same time.
