"Teddy Bears' Picnic" was one of my favorite childhood songs with its touch of mystery and fun. I'm glad kids still learn it.

I get emotional when the subject is a stuffed animal. I still have my favorite stuffy. I just cannot express how happy I am with this special operation to give these bears a new home, a Royal Guard carrying them, the new tags, signed by Queen Consort Camilla... makes me want a Paddington to myself, but I am a adult and I know very well these children will look after these bears better than I would ❤️

I must admit, I think Camilla had the most fun on this project. Camilla was great with the children and this was a great way to carryon the iconic contribution of HLMQEII to her own Platinum Jubilee.

Wonderful! I shopped for Paddington Bear stuffed animal for Christmas present for my granddaughter and I had a lump in my throat remembering the tributes to the Queen. I know those bears will be enjoyed.

Exactly the sort of thing QE2 would've done & if She couldn't make it to the Party, She would've sent Sophie & Louise or perhaps Catherine & Charlotte or maybe even all 4!! One thing I've always admired about QC Camilla is her Appreciation of the Benefits of Parents reading to their Children & Grandchildren & Encouraging Children to read books. My Generation always had a Bedtime Story or 1/2 hr Reading time at Bedtime once we were able to read ourselves, I did the same with my 4. It helps so much not only with Reading Skills & Word understanding, it really stimulates their Imagination, acting out various Story Lines & making up their own. I don't remember ever hearing those dreaded words, "I'm Bored, there's nothing to do".

At 0:53-0:56, this view of Paddington Bear by the book shelf instantly reminds me of the books that I read as a child, about Paddington Bear. In one of the chapters, it tells how Paddington had mistakenly ordered two pummelings instead of one, not realizing that a pummeling was NOT something to eat!! Lol That was 44 years ago, and I still fondly remember that! (That was during our trip to the UK, when I was 12, in 1978). At 1:05-1:10, we see Camilla, very good with the children. I always like seeing her working with all of the children. (Everywhere). Watching her in this video, I honestly feel like Camilla could have, or should have been a teacher for children. Last night I was just thinking about Camilla, and wondering why she doesn't talk about her own children, or make known publicly about what it was like for her personally, raising her children, and being a mother to them? With all due respect, I have also wondered if Charles ever visited Camilla, or stayed friends with her, while she was pregnant with her children, and did he spend time with her when her children were small, or growing up? Who was Charles to Camilla's children then, as in, who did they think Charles was back then? But seeing how good Camilla certainly is with children, I'm sure that she must have been a very good mother!! At 1:19, what kind of sandwiches were Camilla and cast members eating? At 1:29-1:30, this is a beautiful picture of everyone together, and yes, we hope there's enough marmalade there for Paddington Bear. We love to use Smucker's Sweet Orange Marmalade, for toast and sandwiches. Though I didn't appreciate marmalade as a kid, I LOVE it now! 🤓
