The trees in the towns on the trail are very different than in the US. Climate allows them to grow there. When you see no stork nest, there is probably the town maintenance man who pries the nests off as they're building them so no nests there. We just drove to Colorado through Kansas and saw those rain clouds for hours with cloud to cloud lighting and cloud to ground as well. Always afternoon rain...John from MI

33km was a long haul. Gotta love that 60% metric discount you get with the metric conversion to miles! 33kmx60% = 20 miles....

A lot of the 'stop early pilgrims' have been up since before dawn to catch the sunrise (o; and avoid the mid-day heat.

PLEASE buy a microphone! I like your videos, but the sound is TERRIBLE.

Adds weight and when you distance hike and do videos, you are constantly pulling out the phone to take the video. The microphone and cord would add a lot of frustration. Bottom line is we have to deal with the sound issues. It's just the way of the trail.
