Castro - O Pineiral 23.5 km . Crossed from Austurias into Galicia today, with its well maintained (mainly dirt) footpaths. Great for the feet!
One of the best days weather wise yet, an absolutely stunning day. Gorgeous day for a lovelly section of the Camino ! The day starts with a long, gentle climb - whilst we climb 500m today, it's over 9km - luxury!
The mountains are definitely behind us now, so the trail is more meandering than steep climbs and descents - with one exception today, just before A Fonsagrada. That was HARSH!
Continued 3km more to O Pineiral, the hostel there has a small kitchen, but also private rooms too for those who desire, a bar, and an excellent restaruant!
