I took the 76 series up to the Victorian High Country and setup camp with the 30 second stormchaser awning. You will also see the ‪@TRRACKS‬ Wedgetail rack and the ‪@offroadsystems780‬ rear fitout.
I would love to know your thoughts on chairs and wood carrying.

Wawww what an awesome set up, hope you enjoyed your night out, looked such a peaceful place, I couldn't have stayed surrounded by hundreds of people either 😂, I'm a solitary person, hate crowds, superb video, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

What year 70 series do you recommend? Are the older ones still good, which ones are most fuel efficient do you know? Thanks
@Haveacrack76
@Haveacrack76 5 ай бұрын
@@MrRobinski It really will depend on your needs as far as what each model offers. I suspect the brand new ones are going to be the most fuel efficient. But if fuel efficiency is a top priority, a 70 series may not be the best choice mate.

Liking the vids 👍 Re chair. We've been travelling for 20+ years and had as many chairs. Came across the Drifta Stockton recliners last year and would have to be the best & most comfortable we've used, especially when used with a cheap fold up foot stool which double as guest chairs. Recliner is just 4kg but strong and have held up well for 12+mths fulltime travelling, they fold up reasonably compact. Very easily to deploy & pack down. Canvas is a good seat material imo. The optional headrest is a must. On special currently for $150.

Rhinorack stow it for the shovel is awesome, also have one for the log splitter. Re the chair, i have a Wanderer Extreme directors chair, yes it folds up big but it goes standing upright behind the front passenger seat. Swag and stretcher go across the back seat. Snow peak firepit and all its bigs stand upright behind the drivers seat. Firewood, any left over or any split stuff i find on the tracks goes in a bag and sits on the rear seat beside the swag, i try and cut metre long pieces and strap them onto the roofrack, then cut down to size at camp.

Glad to hear you like the wedge tail roof rack, seen them at a couple of 4WD/caravan shows and have not been impressed by the look of them. Might have to have a better look

Check out the new PDP strip lights with white & red LEDs, both colours are dimmable. WAY less bugs attracted to red than orange.

Try using a small piece of rubber and glue or silastic the rubber onto the shovel or on to where the shovel is hitting 👍

Thanks mate. I did put some rubber in the grips to stop it spinning, ill try that next before I swap it out.

Great set up. I’m not sure to spend $1,600 on a 270 or spend the extra 1k and get the bush company 270 max? I’ll be using lots. Tough decision.

Nice set up. Does the 30 second awing leak ?
@Haveacrack76
@Haveacrack76 5 ай бұрын
Ive only had it in the rain twice (we dont get much here) and it didnt leak
Wild dogs in the VHC and my 30 second awning may not be suitable.
