I do like the you and the channel & I love the 76 series but is this what the channel is going to be…. product reviews & underlying product plugs within the videos in order & the hope to get more things sent to you to review? Because if it is I’m out. Everyone’s doing it nowadays…. Jumpstarters, chairs, swags and don’t get me started on the bloody Jackery power station that’s been done to death. You rarely see folks reviewing ARB or TJM gear….etc nowadays because they don’t pay. Sorry for the rant but…
@Haveacrack767 сағат бұрын
Thanks mate. Its a fairly new channel, only 36 videos so far. Worth noting that 21 of those are gear review videos. As a content creator who does this full time for a living, sponsored content is the main way we get payed. Ad revenue from KZfaq is miniscule. Its not about (at least not for me) getting people to send me gear. On my other channel I have a sh*tload of gear sitting in a box that I will never review, because its no good. For me, the gear that I accept to do reviews on is the gear that I think will be helpful to either my setup or someone else setup. You would likely have noticed the dedicated reviews I am publishing now on a Monday evening. Im trying this now to seperate the trip / camping content to the review content.

stick with the low flow/pressure issue, takes time for the water to get up to temp though the heater if you push it too fast you wont get it hot enough, also if your shower head wont let it through fast enough and your on a high LPM pump the pump will constantly cycle on off with pressure cutout.... im about to change from the 10L factory one down to the 6LPM one supplied with the shower

Fantastic video. I had been listening to to the Trump Biden debate, got fed up and went back to Home Screen. Spotted your set-up, out in the bush and immediately thought of our similar set up sitting out in the garage. Decided to see what you were up to! 😅. Loved your style, almost went outside and grabbed our firepit out to light as I was wishing we were away. Glad you found a love for your shower tent and toilet, the shower tent is so much easier to use than the old style bendy type. As for water……. As others have said, if your pump goes with too much pressure your water will run out in no time. We have a 9 litres per hour - sureflow - repurposed from our caravan. We like a shower but are careful to turn on and off and not stand under there having a soak. As we spend a lot of time in the northern WA bush without access to water we also have a 100 litre caravan water tank in the back of our rig with a pump on that so we can transfer water as we run low. We have worked on our set-up for a year or so and are pretty happy with our result, always something we can change though. Keep the videos coming. Off to look at your other offerings and subscribe of course. Happy travels.

Great rundown of your trailer and what can go wrong being that you've had dealings with Vic off-road. They have a fantastic water pump. They supply with their camping hot water service give that a crack. I have one, and it may be good enough to put in the camper. If not go out and buy yourself a sure flow water pump. They're up there in price but they never break I've had one for over 12 years running and it pumps a lot of water and can be adjustable which is a bonus for pressure and volume.

I run Flojet Triplex 11lpm at 50psi pumps. One in the vehicle and another in the camper trailer. Very happy with them and no issues so far, quiet with good pressure. The camper trailer one is 10yrs old and still going strong.
@Haveacrack763 күн бұрын
Thanks mate. A few people have suggested that one now. I will be checking it out.
@markh66764 күн бұрын
Flojet triplex quad pump is the one you need 11LPM. Quality bit of gear, not too noisy and bulletproof. Have used them for near on 20yrs in different 4wd setups including current caravan. Shop around eBay usually cheaper. Ditch the CelFi, they're old hat & hopeless for data. KZfaq to see the never ending problems with them. The best setup for travel bar Starlink is a Telstra M6 modem paired with a Blackhawk 700-2600mhz antenna. The antenna has a marine knock down mount so can be lowered while on the move, it'll still work on the move just with shorter range while it's horizontal. Once camped pop it up for best reception. I get signal more places than most with the antenna up on the roof rack. The Telstra M6modem is their best yet and will also pick up 5G which is becoming more common as 3G shuts down, they're replacing most of the towers with 5G. 4G is still king though in regards to range in rural & remote areas and the Blackhawk is the best 4G antenna for that band. It's 1200L so a good height when up. You don't need an antenna for 5G as the Telstra modem's built-in 5G antenna works well. 5G's range is short so if you pick it up 5G the tower is close by anyway. Few need 5G speeds so I just lock the modem to 4G. Modem just powers off USB -C 3.0 and will run with the battery removed which is better as it doesn't overheat and reduce power which can affect signal strength.

I run one of the eBay jobs for years, had a 4L/m 12v pump running on 18v drill battery daily use for 2 years. I expected it to burn out within the first month of use…. Stick ya big ass seaflow pump, if it takes me 10 extra seconds filling the kettle out camping, who cares, the saved water will give u an extra few days out and that’s all that matters.
@243WW3 күн бұрын
Running a 3L/min on my water tank on purpose, so keep water use at a minimum... Fill up system is a 17L/min! Now that goes.
@jasonbarnes56052 күн бұрын
I use a 2 litre/ min. Pump just for the shower and 10 litre/ min for kitchen use. 2 litres/ min your still using 10 litres for a 5 min shower, so I wouldn't want a pump any more powerful than that.

@ckleinig4 күн бұрын
Hi Mate, enjoying your info. remember if you have a 12 L per minute pump you're going to use 60 L for a 5 minute shower. It might be better to get a new shower head with reduced flow but with more pressure from what it does put out. Caravan stores should be able to assist with that, or look up something like the ECO CAMEL or JET STORM shower head. cheers.

It’s almost a great product. The problem is the bloody tub doesn’t come up at all. So if there is any water that flows up against your swag at all, it will get in. All they had to do was raise the tub 50 to 60 mil up along the sides and it would’ve been brilliant. Other swag do this I don’t know why crash pad didn’t. Aside from that it’s fantastic some of the best sleep I’ve ever had. But the off chance that I’ll get rained on and end up wet is a problem.

Liking the vids 👍 Re chair. We've been travelling for 20+ years and had as many chairs. Came across the Drifta Stockton recliners last year and would have to be the best & most comfortable we've used, especially when used with a cheap fold up foot stool which double as guest chairs. Recliner is just 4kg but strong and have held up well for 12+mths fulltime travelling, they fold up reasonably compact. Very easily to deploy & pack down. Canvas is a good seat material imo. The optional headrest is a must. On special currently for $150.

Just wondering why you've mounted the fridge so that the display is at the back where you can't see it easily? I have the same fridge and know that the cable plugs into the display end which is really really dumb (they fixed this on the later model). I bought a longer cable and run it under the fridge so that the display is visible without sliding it out. Yes you can use your phone to monitor it but then you've got to go looking for your phone. Love your vids. Cheers
