Hey Ronny Boe here, The lift up panels get their gullwing name from the 1955 Mercedes Benz 300ls Gullwing which has lift up doors. It was the first production vehicle to have gullwings and hence coined the term "Gullwing" for side lift up panels. Regards Boe OCA

The rugged terrain we conquer with ease, Toyota 4x4, our trusty steed. With its powerful engine and four-wheel drive, We tackle the mud, the rocks, and the ruts with pride. The suspension so smooth, it glides over the ground, And the tires so sturdy, they never get stuck around. We drive through the wilderness, free as can be, With our Toyota 4x4, the ultimate off-road machine. And let's not forget the rack, the one on top, It's the cherry on top, the ultimate prop. It holds all our gear, our max trax and such, Nice rack, mate! the perfect finshing touch. With the Toyota 4x4, we go anywhere we please, And leave the city far behind with ease. Through the mountains and valleys, we roam, With our Toyota 4x4, we're never far from home. Love your work Ronny!

The best part I believe is the roof conversion, just the quality, the added security when vehicle I unattended for light finger people open up the roof to pop there head in. The weight is the most important not to go over your GMV with all the necessary gear to make life comfortable on the road.

And I thought the best way to follow up how I feel about this, is with an Aussie flavoured Haiku, Ocean Side Kites Fly, Gull Wings Slice Silently Past, Black Beads Hunt Our Lunch, Keep up the good work Ronny! Started watching this video thinking,🤔🤔🤔 I didn't know Andrew (ASPW) was building another troopy, thats when I went and got my Glasses 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ronny you picked a excellent rooftop Conversion.Daniel cut his teeth on the Land Rovers and then Troopy's ,and he is a great person to deal with.. The awning is the other item I find excellent in that both the front and back edges a square to the car,the disappointing thing it doesn't extend out 2.5mts from the car that would be the bees knees.loving the up grades Ronny.

what is great, is the fact, that they built the roof around the car - thats good for the fitment. But I doubt that it is very dark at night or in the morning. The tent itself seems very light transmitting. The design is so far the best I‘ve seen. Very close to the vehicle lines 👍🏼

I really like the look of this roof top than the other ones out there, it has me thinking of getting a troppy. Since you wont be needing that nice rack, it will look good on my old GU. Ill be over in the WA for a few months, maybe we could put the rack on together just a thought.

Absolutely loving this troops build! Those Gullwing windows are a great idea, would be really good when doing harder tracks too with how much the Troopys lean over, better to scratch them than shatter a window. It is fascinating how developed Austria is in the field of production and development of off-road accessories and equipment. Just being out to see. Many congratulations to the developers, but above all I believe that this only happens because in Australia there really is a passion for off-road driving. It is not the case that, as much as we consider Mozambique to be a place with difficult roads, we consider Australia to be the king of the off-road, an inspiration for all lovers of an adventure on wheels in enchanting places. These places are not only special for their destination, but for their wonderful journey. Roof cutting is another level, both in terms of engineering, usability and performance. Surely cutting the coverage is another level. Is it possible to have the same cut roof for Prado 90 series 2000 or Pagero Junior 1998? Very great video, I can't wait to see the episodes of the return to Australia.

From Malaysia: The conversion looks GREAT. Illegal here, the JPJ, (Motor Vehicle folks) went Ballistic when I asked for permission to do this type of a conversion. Thanks for the comments on the seats. In 1976, I remodeled my back. L-4/5 is shot, + osteoarthritis. I have reached out to the U.S supplier. Expensive, yes but as a long haul driver required financial pain.

Hi Ronny, “nice rack mate”, that Mulgo V2 roof conversion looks awesome & the Destination 4WD awning is like the icing on the cake. My daughter is in the market for a Front Runner Roof Rack, she has just turned 18, just bought herself her first car, a Prado 90 series which she is converting into a tourer so she can get out on the tracks and go camping. Oh, she doesn’t even have her drivers licence yet 😂. Best wishes, Tony

The mulgo looked like the beter choice to me always, glad to see you chose it. The install process looks much cleaner than other brands since it's installed in parts. G'day Ronny, Mate I really like the White & Black theme you are developing, it look's great with nice clean lines. The Troopy just pop's without the need for bling etc & the design of the Gull Wing Hatches is one that I have not seen before, but you can tell by just looking at them that they are well thought out & being able to swap them back out with no holes is a winner in my book. Stay Safe Out There Mate, Steve.

Even though that’s a “nice rack mate”, my favourite mod is the full wing doors - super quick, so accessible and a fantastic mod indeed. Makes me want to buy a troopy just for that ! They’re called gull wing because front on, on cars, they evoke the look of a seagull with its wings up. The gull wing was originally designed by Jean Bugatti for the 1939 Type 64, some 14 years before they became famous on the Mercedes-Benz produced 300SL. Generally speaking, in the automotive industry, a gull wing door, also known as a falcon wing door or an up door, is a car door that is hinged at the roof rather than the side, as pioneered by Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, first as a race car in 1952 (W194), and then as a production sports car in 1954. There you go Ronny, but informative info for all 😉👍 cheers buddy
