Couple Australia KZfaqrs are the Same quality but is good to watch people form another country with the same Quality content
@cliffbooth7075
@cliffbooth7075 10 ай бұрын
@@_jaydenrp_6515 Which Aussie videos are the same quality? I watch a lot of off-roading videos and if I’m not aware of them I’ll check them out? Ronny Dahl’s were great quality videos when he did trips filmed for KZfaq but they’re rarer than Tasmanian Tiger sightings these days because his Ch7 contract gets all of his worthwhile content. TSTN & TrailRecon set a pretty high standard though. Great unique destinations, good mix of overlanding & decent 4wding, great shots, excellent use of the drone and compelling story telling. I’m loving it that 4wd 24/7 are currently releasing videos from the US and using Shauno’s 4wd which was shipped over from Australia, but they’re just all about hardcore 4wding & it does get a bit too much from time to time because Shauno & Graham are super overloaded with energy when filming on the tracks. They hit all the sane destinations every 2yrs just about. Cape York & the Simpson Desert for them are like the Ashes and done every 2 years.

Thanks for taking me back 40 years! I did some of that exploration work there in 1983. It rained every day for 4 months straight. The Granduc Mine was operating at the time on the other side of the tunnel. We built a lot of those trails. Good to see they are still somewhat navigable. I just retired after 40 years as an exploration geologist, having worked and played in some of the most amazing and remote parts of Canada. To think the old rental 4x4 pickups could do what they did! Cheers.

as someone who lives in Italy, I am quite familiar with mountains and valleys. What I'm not familiar with and is absolutely astonishing to see every time I watch one of your videos is the scale of things there in the americas. It's wild how much larger everything is. I've seen glaciers in the past, but that thing scared the crap out of me, never seen anything like it. I genuinely thank you for the content you bring, it helps not only relaxing and spending some good time, but also getting a wider point of view on the world in general (like I said, never seen anything like the things you show in your videos and I wouldn't have seen them if it weren't for your channel)

I agree because I don't get to travel, heck I haven't seen my siblings in 25 almost 30 years ago and I just lost a baby brother this year 😢. My dad moved me away from my entire family and moved to Las Vegas Nv. I was 8 so I didn't have a choice in the matter 😢. I was supposed to see my siblings this year and didn't even get to do that before he passed away sadly. I tried so hard too 😪. I just recently had to sell my truck to pay my rent. The only vehicle I have ever been able to buy myself. Without help from anyone, so now I really can't go see my sister and meet her teenage kid's.

45:29 I believe that is the Lake that Destination Adventure claimed, and named after spending a night there. The ONLY stacked rocks, are hiking trail markers, Graffiti stacked rocks, are a blemish, and should never be erected as they can lead to confusion on a trail. Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.

A few notes. Half way between Hyder and Kitwanga is a turn off called Cranberry Connector. It's a nice trek and a side trip to the Nisga'a valley. Lots to see there too... side trip into Kitsault, which is a fully maintained ghost town (permission needed to pass gate) and from there if you have a boat you can make it to Anyox which is the most amazing old mining ghost town from the turn of the century. This trip will loop you back to Terrace and will pass the Nisga's memorial lava beds which is the most recent volcanic eruption in Canada. A must see... The rock piles are called Inukshuk's which were used by First Nations as markers. The formation you kicked over could have been a grave marker, so if you are having a lot of bad luck lately I would recommend going back and replacing it. Okay, the last part is most likely bullshit. lol

Awesome video!!! You always show me places that i want to go now that i am retired. Please don't knock over the rock stacks though. As a through hiker i look for those because they are trail makers. The the CDT and PCT are trails from Mexico to Canada. There are other trails that continue on from there through Alaska. I am sure there would be local trails too and these are the markers to keep hikers on trail in adverse weather. Please keep up the awesome videos. Peace

Some people will abuse anything such as rock stacking but most serve a purpose. I love this channel! love the locations, narration and the different groups you go out with! Your channel, Trail recon and a few others have inspired me th start my own channel its coming along!. It's a challenge to grow a channel but if you love it as a hobby that it really doesn't matter! these channels are so much better than regular tv..

Beautiful. From Michigan, drove to Alaska in 2003. Left on Friday afternoon, and on Thursday at noon we were standing at the Arctic ocean at Prudoe Bay. Then we slowed down and enjoyed this sites. Fished North of the Brooks Range, (and lots of other places) went to Dawson City Yukon, We were in Hyder on the way back.
