Love you guys, remember cats are the best water drinkers, soft foods are really the way to go for maintaining good kidney health. hey are prone to bladder and kidney issues.

There is a cute diner in Utah if you are leaving Bryce Canyon heading to Zion. It is the Galaxy Diner in Hatch, UT. Admittedly, we have only had breakfast, but they serve good biscuits and gravy and hash browns. 😋

Thanks Jennifer! Yes, we need to make copies! Our first complete set of keys for our rig was actually stolen when we were in Las Vegas last year. We changed our locks for the Transit, but not for the outside compartments - including the cassette toilet. We also never made additional keys so are down to one set for the outside compartments - time for us to change that!

I was just thinking about Cracker Barrel earlier today and I almost went but I think I’ll go Saturday instead. Love your adventures and glad you got the key. Maybe you can get an extra two or three made. LOL. I actually did that for my house recently because I got tired of locking myself out. I have one in my car and one on my keys and one hidden. Peggy Sue's , wow!!!! My now husband of almost 30 years road his motorcycle to get me biscuits and gravy from Peggy Sue's. Pretty sure that's when I knew he was the one!!! We are in Idaho now, but miss that diner! A lot has been added to it. I will have to send this video to my friend of over 40 years, she use to work there, but now lives in Vegas. Thank you for the blast from the past!!!!😀

Darn'it you drove through Tulare CA and failed to tour Allensworth State Park Historical Town. It is the first and only all-Black settlement founded by Buffalo Soldier Colonel,Chaplain,etc. Allen Allensworth and his wife Josephine Leavell Allensworth. Like you, Tanya music was her thing. You would love the step back in time. I was fortunate to meet Alice Royal, who was born in Allensworth.

Wow !!! I think Dave & Tanya will have the last memoirs to show us the reality of the global downtrodden conditions. I'm in NYC. Many condominiums are up for sale or rent. Many commercial vacancies. Lots of them are restaurants. And I didn't even stress the other four boroughs. 😢😢😢

Not a big fan of Peggy Sue's. The atmosphere yes, the five and dime, yes. The food, not so much. The food is better across the street next to the hotel in the airstream looking diner.

Thanks, carrying a bottle and funnel is a smart backup plan! We were lucky we found the key. It fell on the ground at the truck rental location, which was just over an hour back track for us!

You need to make duplicate keys and put one set away so if this ever happens again you will have a spare set.

We are going on our first long RV trip and taking our 2 cats. Do you ever have any concerns about your cats getting under the driver's feet while driving or do you put them back in their crates? Could you also link the carrying crates and the bowl you use? Lastly, any litter box hints?

Susan, wow, that's exciting, first RV trip with your two kitties! Our kitties have never tried to get under the driver's seat. We do leave them out of their crates when we are driving. Bailey actually sometimes goes inside her crate voluntarily when we drive, it's kind of a safe haven for her. I just began bike camping in Costa Rica. I have a 100 cc 2 stroke moped that can do 100 KPH as well as an electric scooter powered by 1200 watts at 60 Volts good for 60 KPH and a lightweight trailer of 1X2 meters. And here can stay just about anywhere free. Just leave places you say better than when you arrive. Temperatures are always good between 54F and 87F. The trailer cost $110 to build. The moped about $350 and the electric scooter $1500. None require license, registration or insurance or vehicle inspection. And only 2 highways in the entire country have speed limits over 50 KPH. I keep mountain bikes in Nicaragua, Panama, Ecuador , Peru and Bolivia. Traveling by air just isn't worth the cost of bring a bike when you can buy one new for about $120. At age 76 I found I needed some extra assist on uphill grades over 20% And there are plenty 30 to 35 and one which is 41% My driveway is 21 to 22% and steepest midway.

@@LetsTurnItUpWorld Most diverse country in the world for plants and animals. The Cocos Islands a part of Costa Rica. In the 1500's the Spanish were sending 4 years of loot from South America to Mexico City. Stashed it in Cocos Islands. Thought to be over $800 Billion. No one can look for treasure or be there overnight. Now the good part. A great great uncle of mine was Governor of Cocos Islands in the 1800s. Am American and Retires US Army Brevet Brigadier General. About 850 miles away by boat.

@@LetsTurnItUpWorld I once had a storage unit. Two locks of two brands securing it. I once went and opened two locks in the same number unit on another row. It opened and all kinds of furniture and guns. And neither of those locks were the same brand or anything like mine. Pretty scary what people trust. On visiting other countries, Do Not Drive. In any accident police take your Passport and License until case is settled. In Nicaragua accidents if you aren't the one going to the hospital you will be the one going to jail for 3 days, no exceptions. Use public transportation or taxis. It is presumptuous for people to think they can drive safely in other countries. And in crossing streets as a pedestrian, cross in the center of the block. Even in the US. The guy in a 4000 pound SUV may have a different opinion of right of way while you are crossing in a crosswalk with the green light. Actually better in Latin America for the most part largely die turnabouts rather than intersections. I recommend La Fortuna as best visit. Round trip from LAX, Houston or Miami is around $300 round trip.

@@LetsTurnItUpWorld Something not mentioned. But those fleeing Colombia and Venezuela often come to Costa Rica. Except for the US with lure of high paying jobs, Costa Rica offers more. Jobs, housing, free health care and education. By not having a military they have more for health care and education. In Venezuela average income is $30 a month. In Colombia $150 a month. In Panama $450 a month, in Costa Rica $550 a month and Nicaragua $150 a month May seem like little but I have never paid over $180 a month rent for a 3/2 house. And currently rent a 7 bed/5 bath house with 4 car garage on 23 acres for $153 a month. Nice town of about 9000 at an elevation of 6750 ft. Where tropics meet pine and cedar trees in the Cloud Forest.

Hi guys. I live off hwy 50 between Sac and Lake Tahoe. Its good that you got out of Truckee, weather says atmospheric river storms coming in next week, you woukd have been totally snowed in, Hwy 80 closed, a real mess. Those storms drop a lot of rain and snow in the mountains. Its nice out today. Enjoy the winerys 🍷OH yea, have some extra keys made. 😊

@@LetsTurnItUpWorld Those panel locks are just to keep kids and the curious out. As for a real thief you should be grateful they are easy to pick or use a similar key. The alternative would be the thief using a tire iron and that would cause a lot of damage. Same with locking gas caps. Thieves will drill or punch a hole in your tank and take all your fuel or leave it on the ground. And most RV's have a switch underneath to just pull off the hose. Here in Costa Rica a GMC 1/2 tone 2 Wheel drive pickup will cost $107,300. For $16,000 you can buy a much better Toyota Hillux, 4X4 with a more powerful turbocharged engine. US made cars are a very bad idea in other countries. And get less than half the fuel mileage. Cost of yearly license is over $1600. And gas is running around $6 a liter. Electric vehicles are taking over by storm. Many selling new below $6000. I have seen a total of one motorhome in Central America in the last 11 years. Two travel trailers used as permanent homes in Panama. And maybe 6 travel trailers of approximately 15 feet.

Thanks Hannah! We lost the key at the truck camper location. It had dropped on the ground there. We had to drive back a little over an hour to pick it up. We were lucky we had not driven further the day before.
