Hi! I know this is now a year after you posted this video but I have a tip for your ‘critter’ problem. I’m not sure about mice (in fact it’s a battle in my home!) but for insects, BAY LEAVES. Sounds silly but dried bay leaves tucked into corners, under furniture… wherever you don’t have to look at them, keeps almost all insects away. I’ve been doing this for decades in every place I’ve rented, with amazing success! Another good tip for travellers is to cut the corner off a bag of dried bay leaves (big enough for the smell to get out but not the leaves) & put it in your suitcase. You won’t bring any bugs home! Try it!! It’s been proven by me & everyone I’ve told!! :D

5 years FT here. We fell for the hype. I wish I still had my home. It’s not what they made it out to be. It’s hard and expensive.

it also really makes a difference what part of the country and time of tear you will be "living" in your rig.Lies is kind of a strong word. More like myths or misguided expectations.

Many of these van life folks are young people with rich parents - not adults barely getting by looking for an alternative lifestyle.

I’m new to your story, and love it. ❤. I looked all through your description, but couldn’t find what your rig is? I like its design. What is the make and model? Thank you

"one foot in front of the other and soon you are walking out the door" One of my fave quotes/songs/xmas memories. Few people get it when I sing it. So glad to hear you doing it!

BLM is not only 14 days. It also prohibits coming back camping on the same location for several weeks (I believe 28 days) AND you must camp at least 25 miles away minimum from where you had your prior 14 days spot in the first place.
