I used that for the 2019 version since I owned that then. It did not hiss with that so I would imagine it would be fine.

Hey Andrew. Which IEM do you think is more detailed, the andromeda or the monarch? Do you think it’s worth it to take the 2020 andromeda over the monarch if I don’t care about bass?

@@Jack-di6rcPersonally I'd suggest you to try wear a pair of Andromeda and check the fit, the hard shell hurt my ears very badly when I wear them

@@Jack-di6rc I'd take the Monarch personally. Detail is pretty similar from memory, I'd have to have them side by side. But the monarch bass is much more satisfying.

andromeda 2020 doesn't take much to drive I use them with the apple usb c to 3.5mm on mobile and on desktop I use the schiit modi magni stack 0 hissing on both and both sound amazing had them pretty much since release and still one of my favorite iems of all time

I saw his reviews about the Ara and Solaris and I definitely I agree with his point of views. Campfire iems look nice but they don't play with the big boys. I rather get something from Sony or 64 audio. However, the Andromeda is pretty good iem if you get it at a decent price.

And I absolutely don’t understand why you Harman curve fans doesn’t buy the N5005, shit was $399 on Black Friday. Why jump through all these loops to get some SA6 / moondrop that are made of cheap resin?

@@thanrl CHEAP RESIN AHAHAHAHA BULLSHIT. The "cheap reasin" is made by a German liquid resin, this material is inserted after a primary mold for the BAs, crossover(s) and tubes insertion. Then the entire mold is filled with the same kind of resin and on top of it a stabilized wood faceplate wich I would consider extremely good looking (dunu sa6). Sure I'll give prop to metal builds for feeling e bit heavier and having the possibility of being CNC machined with various forms and shapes, even cutting logos on the inside or outside. But resin shells are extremely comfortable and scratch resistant, which, for the second one, metal, whether it's aluminum or stainless steel it will suffer from those over time. Plus, the construction of the SA6 is one of the most solid and bubble free ones you can find on the market, consider resin ad something much much lighter than metal but have the same level of resilience _over time_ . Not bomb proof like metal, but it has its reason and a number of iems are made by this kind of full resin, just like the Moondrop S8 or many, many other iems.

The BL-03’s are like the first girl you meet in the Big City coming from a rural farm area. It will wow and amaze and you can’t believe your luck finding such quality for so cheap. But after a while spending time in the City, you realize there are waaaay better and they’re everywhere - but they will require more investment. The BL3’s are not in the same area code as the Andromeda’s across the board.

@@mensrea1251 lol! spot on bro! my officemate has this BL-03 and borrowed my MOJO/POLY, he said it sounds so good and made fun of me buying expensive IEMs. I asked him to try my Andromeda-Gold, and I saw him rarely use his BL-03. lol! My other audiophile officemates made a joke that I not just shot him, I literally dropped a nuclear bomb in his face. lol!

What do ypu run your Andros with ? I used mine with zx300 but i really wanted to try them with some cheap 2ohm source

i36allah I changed the cable to 4.4 that I got from campfire audio, hiby r6 pro. And the sound is clean. The cable it made the difference.

Campfire Audio is so overpriced. I listened to stuff from 64 audio and Sony and they are miles better. Their only good iem is the Andromeda.
