Camping at Savanna Portage State Park

2 жыл бұрынThis was in late September. The trees were beautiful and the weather was great. Savanna Portage seems to be a hidden little gem that not too many people know about. I camped here because it was the only campground with sites available. I was pleasantly surprised by it. We went fishing and agate hunting while here.

A definite plus with the peace and quiet, the kids having access to flippin' the gills and plenty of nature to explore!!

It was a great little find. The wife would have liked a better internet connection, but that's what you get in the middle of nowhere!

@@GoMidwestFishing It’s a place my family took me too growing up and then I took my son to when he was old enough. Now that I seen your video, it’s making me want plan a weekend this summer. ❤️❤️

@@julieholmly It was the only place I found a campsite open last fall, so you shouldn't have a hard time finding a campsite. Its fun to revisit places you use to go. I say put it on your calendar!

Looks like a nice park. Similar to what we have around in NJ, but over here the sites are booked months in advance.

I think the only reason this one wasn't booked is because nobody knows about it. Its been hard around here too finding camping spots.
