I use none ethanol gas or high test car gas in my stoves and lanterns. Most of my stoves and lanterns are from the 50s to the 70s.

Epoxy is an amazing technology, so versatile and durable. I’m taking note of these products for future projects, marine ply is great but this is next level. Great job

Fish largemouth on shallow mid-lake flats that have a weed line. I caught a 6+ pounder there July 3rd.

How much weight are you adding to that lift system? I’d be concerned if it was a lot more weight than the original. They make these weak lift systems to barely lift the original roof weight. I’m not being critical of what you are doing at all, I’m thinking of doing the same thing. Good job!

I am glad I figured out gardener snakes like to crawl into the motor's lower unit before one made it halfway there the week before. Otherwise, we would have had a shorter fishing trip than expected. No telling what happens to a motor full of snakes...unless you are telling. Maybe you know?

Have also seen all 3. We had a eagle grab a fish 10ft from the boat once.
@DpuckFishingandOutdoors16 күн бұрын
That snake was tired and needed a rest! 😉 So I found out that Herons and Tern Gulls hate each other. From my boat I saw a Heron stop and rest on a rock that the terns and cormorants take breaks on, and while the cormorants couldn't have cared less, those terns took to the sky and were dive bombing the heron like Japanese Zeros until it moved on. Its always neat to see an Eagle catch something. The things we get to see out on the lake are always pretty special.

Ran a 1991 90 vro on a 1991 Princecraft 196 from 1991 until 2017 with just over 3k hours 39/40 mph upcurrent, 41-43 mph down current on the St. Lawrence River. In that time one power pack replacement and impeller/plugs That 90 had the most varied conditions from Wide Open Throttle trips, I'd run that boat 90%throttle everywhere then me, my Dad and my Uncle would take it up to lake ontario and troll for 6/7 hours, basically wash rinse and repeat that kind of cycle for 26 years of service life. An impressive engine in my opinion. Repowered to a 2017 G1 135 H.O. and it definitely picked up speed, it will run an honest 50mph on GPS and 51 if you hold your tongue the right way, better on fuel and consumes less oil, we have slowed down in our boating frequency and have just under 400 hours on the 135, it's been back to the dealer for a faulty temp sensor issue and put me into limp mode making for a long ass drive back to the ramp, Time will tell if this engine has the longevity of the old 90 Your mileage may vary Dan.
