Todays video was quite the adventure. I headed out with ‪@DirtLifestyle‬ and our buddy Aaron on a quest to find deep untouched snow. We ended up finding it in the middle of a hazardous weather alert storm in the area.
It snowed about 18-24" on our second night. We torture tested the Snow10 some deep snow while extreme weather overlanding.

Idk if this is answered but does it still have the 4.3/4l60?and if so did you do any upgrades to the drivetrain?

The 4.3 is stock, but the 4l60 has a shift kit and upgraded internals.

Do you only run rubber or chain up sometimes?? I had a set if 33x12.50 x 16.5 KOAs and up here on the mountain we kive ip an animal trail in. I've never had chains for them. Hmm And I don't have lockers in my 84 F 150 300 with granny low tranny. Never been stuck in it.😅😅

Never had to use chains. A good aired down tires works just fine.

...so the s10 was doin pretty good- and what a nice amount of snow ;-) i had 2 weekends of snow- which is amazing for mideurope- i made a little vid to show my standard zr2 to some friends if u like to see ;-) btw even the standard setup and 4wd is doin good for mild offroad in my mind...its my first 4wheel truck

Thanks, for your rear g80 locker, try changing the fluid to a good synthetic with limited slip additive. Those stop working once the old fluid breaks down.

They were pro comp mtr, 40x13.50x17. But I don’t have them anymore.

The snow is too deep for narrow tires to get down to the dirt. You want the largest contact patch possible to try and float on top the snow. So fatty’s for sure.

I have never seen anyone have success with “pizza cutters” around here. Bigger and wider is always better.
